I "kind of" got the circling thing down but whenever I went to nose down and fire, my whole pattern got retarded. Guess it just takes practice but damn, it sure ain't easy! Tell me about it! Been trying for weeks and can get the basic circling going, even with the nose down (sorta), but can't keep my fire centered. DAMN FRUSTRATING! sammyman88 Posted January 9, 2009 Share Posted January 9, 2009 When it comes to just flying a chopper, I am really good at it but I am really bad when I try to kill people with the miniguns, I got a one kill today and this was my first try and I thought it was easy but I tryed like five times after that to kill the same dude and it was hard. For some reason, IICHARGERII isn't accepting me in his friends list... Now I also have k2rool on my friends list, who was playing in the first game I had with Jetpilot101, and she also seems to be good, weven though we haven't played many games together... @Mylungsareburnin01: once I remember to play with you on a Free Mode in the Airport... I remember you because you started killing me because it was at the time that I was really good at killing people with the heli, and I was doing precisely that, running over everyone... OK! New rule for "THE REMATCH"! All Pilots must lose tail b4 match! lmao Oh [email protected] Tonksi: If you are really interested in helping out others learn to control the Heli, would love to see a two panel shot in one of your vids with a shot of your hands/controller in one and the other, the play screen. I just can't seem to figure out the subtle controller movements required for things like the circling strategy you guys use. Just a thought. They either manage to cut your tail off or fail completely and get killed by me afterwards, but it still takes the piss! I mean, do they consider flying helis into you SKILLFUL? It's not like I know they're coming, so stop being a dick I can fly without a tail as a matter of fact, I never said I couldn't, nor have you seen me play so how can you judge me? ChristopherD Posted January 25, 2009 Share Posted January 25, 2009 Well Burnin you may not give up...but I do. lol I'll even up it one...If you can't beatem, joinem. lol Thanks to osmeal, I got the basics of circling...just have to practice. ...but if you can get the other 13 players, Burnin, you KNOW Im in...(until I can fly like them, I STILL hate Pilots...lol) Subject Change: I met another Pilot in a FM the other night. And I think i can fairly say that I have played some of the best out there and this Pilot was the best I have seen. I also think it might be someone from here with a new account...here is why: The FM was in Algonquin and there were already 13 or 14 ppl in when 'Your_Daughter' (Y_D) came in. Now, I love FM...I love the DM type firefights and either staying and fighting out, or trying to make my escape...I love stunting. For those who don't stunt in GTA IV, you are seriously missing out! There are jumps and what I to call "Runs" (where you can got from one end of the map to the other with 15 or 20 jumps along the way) that put previous GTAs to shame. I'm rambling... The point is that I play FM in a lot of different ways and ussually determine how I am going to play by paying attention to what others are doing. In this particular game I had paused it and was watching the dots move around on the map (I know, I am a GTA Junkie) when Y_D came in. I watched as she headed straignt for the Helis and I especially pay attention to pilots in FM. (btw, playing with you guys as much as I have makes it extremely fun to fight 'normal' pilots now...lol) When Y_D got into the air, that blue dot made a very straight and very fast line towards me. Now, I was on the extreme north end of the island and there were probably 12 ppl she could have gone after btween her (I am goin with the name...I know it probably isnt) and me and she skipped every one. I immediately started playing again and let me tell you, this person (better? lol) knew what the f*ck they were doing. I spent the next 40 minutes or so fighting her (I guess Im hoping its a female...would be cool) and she was good. Better than good...perfect, really. She went up and down the streets like she was in a car! She mowed a person down like every 3 seconds or so. It was rediculous! At one point I was trying to use the subway entrances to pop out from and I swear, I had to be real careful even underground as she would still shoot at me THROUGH THE STREET! I even got like 5 ppl w/mics to start coordinating (and not kill each other) to no avail. After 40 minutes, that Pilot did not die once! And all the while, I stayed the focus of her/his attacks. So, the only reason for this Pilot to target me in such a way is if it was one of you guys in "Disguise", or my reputation for hating Pilots precedes me (which would be kinda cool, actually).
