The Killa Posted May 23, 2009 Share Posted May 23, 2009 Don't know how many of you heard but I read EA will be releasing new kit updates on May 28, which will include new kits for Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Marsielle, Newcastle, and Chelsea Will the Newcastle one come with the Championship badge on the sleeve, mm'yes? Can't see why not, it's a decent stadium with a decent enough capacity crowd of 50+ thousand and will get used loads. They should be adding more stadiums instead of taking them away. I reckon they'll stay up anyway . Liam! I've only really just got into Ultimate Team, I found it abit tedious trying to beat five star teams with my one and a half team of no-body's. But then I got my mate to give me a few cards and I bought a bucket load of gold cards with the Microsoft Points I had left. Now I have such players as Eto'o, Ribery, Silva, Anderson, Valencia and whent from having no keeper to having Van Der Sar. But then I whent to auction and bought myself a nice 93 Cech . So, who does everyone have in their ultimate team? Edit: (Just read the post above) Yeah I think they should use a little more effort and generate a realistic crowd, for me the supporters are what make football matches a magical experience. At the moment all we get is fans that all look the same, they're all 2d and they randomly jump up and down even if they've just lost. It's alright for some in it, i struggled to keep a float with the constant contract cards needed and my sh*tty bronze players. Plus i have only bought two gold packs and i've played 91 games...Can get very annoying and frustrating. Problem is my created player (which is me) , whenever i move him to another team he gets the f ucking number 128 number so it has 1 and then this purble checkered patch and it looks so f ucking stupid! I agree as well, even PES 3 the crowds were awesome, i remember playing as Ac Milan and whenever you scored the crowd would go mental and all these flares, flags would go off it was awesome. If your playing at home and you score goal they should be like in real life, you just see them sitting then then they all jump and down like crazy. In Manager Mode every single game is during the day. Annoying as f*ck I admit I thought that was just me! It's sickening, 3 o'clock kick offs. I've even had two matches on the same day, making the first team wrecked as hell. It never snows in manager mode either, i can't remember when i last saw it. I think an update mucked up some things, where it's supposed to say 'Referee' or 'Commentators', it now says "Free Agent" Nonetheless, it'll always be my first choise footy game. I only ever witnessed snow when i first got the game, within my first few games at Ivy Lane, Now everyone claims it only snows at one particular ground. Nah, the defender just knocked it out for a corner. I'm getting really annoyed at how hard it is to smash the ball back towards goal whilst theres a few defenders in the box, 99% of the time it gets defelected back out, its SO frustrating! Anyway. I bought Hunteelar & Diego. Hunteelar has scored when i've bought him on, so i consider him a good buy, But apart from Diegos set peices, theres not much use for him, Gerrard already is my 1st choice CAM. Any suggestions on formations & tactics for two CAM's, I'm trying to find a formation that gives gerrard & Diego time on the ball outside the box to pull shots off. He didn't quit. The 9th goal when the guy quit the game=unexplainable. Cruz passed to Ibra, Ibra did something better than a backheel and it went it. Inspired by my Champions League final-flop of a teams humiliation at the hands of Barca earlier this week, I decided to adopt the Barca tactics to my Fifa 09 team: Juventus. I'm suddenly hammering teams into submission. Pretty awesome. I have Trezeguet, Del Piero, Iaquinta, Amauri and Cameranesi playing in the Messi/Henry/Eto'o roles and Zanetti and Nedved as my Iniesta and Xavi (nowhere near as good though obviously).
