Don Garcia aka NjNakedSnake
Starring Sean Penn as Milk, Josh Brolin, Emile Hirsch, Diego Luna and James Franco. This is a bio-pic set in the 1970's, set to release in limited theatres November 26th, and to expend in the following weeks. Harvey Milk was a gay rights activist and a San Francisco city supervisor, widely regarded as the first openly gay man elected to any political office in America. He was the subject of the 1984 documentary The Times of Harvey Milk, which won an Academy Award for Best Documentary. Milk will be the first non-documentary film based on his life. http://themovingpicture.net/excellent-trailer-for-milk-arrives Trailer ^ I personally think this film looks powerful and Penn looks set to deliver another gripping performance. Having seen Milk in numerous documentaries, I am quite interested in this film and how they handle his personal life and assassination. And Brolin, well he's just a great addition to the picture. Mister Pink
I love Sean Penn but I'm not sure about Gus Van Zant after watching Elephant and Last Days. Having said that though, the films sounds good. I like Emile Hirsch in Into The Wild. I'm gonna watch Paranoid Park for the laugh. I can't seem to make my mind up about Van Zant. Don Garcia aka NjNakedSnake
Well this looks like it's gonna be a winner. An obvious award-nominee performance from Penn, an appealing true life story, an assassination. I can't see how this could fail. At least from that epic trailer.
