rnz1369
i think the two skins, skelzor and the zombie guy are just there for the helloweenweekend xp fest or something. Almost beat survival in the village coop with two people! i got grapped by a special ops guy on lvl8, my buddy tried to kick him off me, but overlooked a grenade It gets pretty crazy on the higher levels.. Its so addicting, i keep playing the coop survival..
SuperJude™
I tried multiplayer and got quite frustrated. I gotta say, coming from just playing GTA 4 to this, even with aim sensitivity on high the gun moves slow as sh*t. I truly need to log in more and play, I had no clue what I was doing in this co-op mode, all I know is the other team had it together and I was constantly getting killed by people I couldn't even see or the other team would all drop like 4 grenades at the same time. Question being, is this a truly GOOD multiplayer mode? Do I want to invest my time in it vs just loading up GTA 4? I won't spoil the ending/final boss but I'll say, at least on Normal, I felt like "that's it?" Not that it was easy per say and certainly a bit time consuming but still, all in all, not the hardest thing naughty dog has come up with. Still chuckle that I beat Jak 2 without actually getting the final power up (super size) so it took 3 days of doing it with everything but the one power you need. Glad to see they presented an endgame based more on wits than incredible button mashing and repetitive trips into, say, lava or something. Another thing I found, at least on Normal, is that you can retreat, hang on an edge, and drag a LOT of bad guys off. Done 4 in a row this way just for giggles. Probably can't do it on hard but still worth noting.
Slamman
I'd like to try both Mps, but alas, I've no Wifi even, all my hotspots dried up (cold spots now), and I have to pay for crappy dialup, it's more annoying now when I don't have an option. I wanted to mention that in the USA, Uncharted showed up on Late Show TV here, hosted by Jimmy Fallon of SNL and movie fame. He had a group of people on with the game, and I switched channels to Jimmy Kimmel and got distracted with that, so I missed whatever he was doing, but man, still cool to see it on TV like that!! Slamman
I had to return GTA Episodes rental and Uncharted 2, and sadly, lost my income means earlier today, I hope not to lose my PS3 I pawned but things are ever so gloomy, since unemployment in the USA topped out at 10.3% to end the week, or it's 10.2, highest rate in over 20 years! Since 1983, and 1982 basically. Well, not to get offtopic with my own state of affairs, I am missing the game play, I think versus Episodes and Uncharted 2, the Uncharted wins again, it's the perfect evolution so far, despite MP misgivings voiced here, I think the game is splended to look at, works and plays real nice, and it's just intoxicating to play it. I REALLY can't wait for Uncharted 3, this time, I think this franchise is going to be as successful as GTA at the end of the day.

Slamman
Ugh, just terrible, I was in school in that time, early 1980s, I don't recall how bad it was, but the recovery was faster. Speaking back on topic, Uncharted Two has picked up the nice "Gears of War" weapons and stealth qualities and only made them better with this installment, I played the preview clip highlighted earlier here, it talks about the NPC AI in terms of vision they have of things not directly in front of them, and that they go into search mode when losing sight of a target. They also try and flank you. It's just such a nicely done system, it's what tackles the tougher issue of replay and repetition in linear gameplay, you can do the same battle with a much different tactic, as I did in the town square with the rocket launcher and machine guns (mid game mission)

dkznr3
I think between deathmatch and turf war between the two games, I prefer TDM in GTA but turf war in Uncharted. The only problem (mostly with chain reaction) is I always end up on a team of people who don't know what they're doing and they aren't even getting lots of kills to make up for it. Every chain reaction match I've been in lately has 3 newish people climbing as high as they can to snipe while me and the only other guy actually getting the territories. I haven't had a CR match last longer than 3 minutes in a while now.
Slamman
Ok ^ Not sure what you said there. hahaha My only two Christmas wishes are a long term, good paying job, and my PS3 playing Uncharted 2, and 3!??!? Ok, it's just a wish, that they could keep building 'em as quick as we can play 'em. GTA3Freak-2001
Bought the game last week but haven't played it yet as I am away from home and although I've got my PS3 with me the TV here only allows me to use composite cables so its a bit ugly. So I am putting it off but I may get over my SD phobia and just play a bit of it.
AndyGanteks
Just got it and accidentally found that first treasure on the right, the snowing effects are really great, hopefully MP is as good as they say it is, can't wait to try it. Also, good that you can transfer your U1 trophies into money for MP for U2, good way to do it, maybe rockstar should think of something similar for their next GTA. SuperJude™
I think part of my MP issue was simply not knowing the map well enough. Hunting for treasure is a great way to learn all the levels. I made it through my first play on normal with 62 treasures. Going back through on hard, now up to 90. It's pretty intense how they hide some of them, sitting there thinking "I KNOW there are 8 on this level, I have 7...where could this POSSIBLY BE???" and then that moment of triumph when you find said treasure in some ridiculous area. The level with all the cogs and wheels was notorious for this. I also dig that there are multiple ways to go through everything save the battle scenarios. I prefer stealth just because and have made it a challenge on hard to snap as many necks as possible. The shooting physics, to me, still seem a tad slower than GTA 4 and I just can't seem to master that sweet double tap to the head, surefire kill every time tactic, but you know, practice and all. The visuals still really impress me. After seeing Tekken 6 and then popping Uncharted 2 back in, it's just awesome what they did. Story line wasn't bad! I tend to hate any game story line and just click through them but this one is totally worth at least one viewing. They stuck to a simple plot, didn't try to re-invent the wheel, and it works. Voice actors kick ass. I remember the days when it sounded as if they hired the intern to do all the voices but this game, all top notch. Weapons, despite being limited to 3 at any given time (counting grenades and not counting the mini gun) are plentiful and fun. Hell I've had the most fun with the pistol, of all things. That and hanging off the side of objects and pulling dudes over the side. Fantastic how often this works and in how many scenarios. I wonder how decent the MP deathmatches are? Probably going to have to add you again dkz! (oh, and Slamman, I feel for you bro. They just laid off 40 people from my company, times are more tough than I can remember). SuperJude™
Hmm, i was wondering, where do the videos go once you press ''upload'' button and upload them? Good question. This is a game that allows you to use twitter, wouldn't it be cool if it uploaded to Youtube? I actually have no idea where it uploads too, probably easy to solve via google. If you don't figure it out, I'll look into it as well.

I don't really play deathmatch, though. I must have only played 2 or 3 times. I'm usually in Objectives (Plunder, Turf War etc.), which are basically deathmatches with a distraction. Slamman
Cool people are enjoying it, it still must feel short, given how much you REALLY get into it. I'd love to play a whole Uncharted series, till the day I die, it's all I'd do! But GTA is OK, as well. hahaha I noticed one UK magazine features the game Front and Center with a full walkthru, describing the ending as I had requested earlier in the thread, with a few stills dotting the progress visuals. It was saying EVERYONE with a PS3 NEEDS this game, and it's not the only magazine featuring Uncharted 2, however, they seem dated by now, but this was on current newstands I saw the other day (computer store) I believe of the facts they published, the movie for Uncharted has been in production now for a year and a half, as well, That Naughty Dog works with Insomniac games <?>in close relation, so there are some shared similarities (Jak and Daxter, Nathan character name, they bring up)

Slamman
Try Dogpile, or via their site, they allow you to apply for jobs, you can send some mail to them that way, or at least, I would try it. Uncharted 2 seems slightly longer then the original, and more breathtaking visually, in terms of scope... that train ride is long, and look at all the scenery that just whizzes by! What do you think of the job? Is it long enough of a game yet?
