Creed Bratton
I can't wait to play this game. When I get it, I'll simply vanish. Forest will whisper my name in the wind, in the dark. But I'll be gone, never to be heard of again.

Remix
What the feck? I watched so many videos before this was released and I swear the previews were not doing the game any good... I thought it was going to be terrible! 8.5 from gamespot? 9 from IGN? Might have to check this one out.

Tchuck
So I just spent 7 straight hours playing this. It's so damn good. The music, the sound effects, the atmosphere, it's all so reminiscing of the original that it's just grand. Gameplay-wise, it's a beauty. I f*cking love going stealthy, figuring out the guards and trying to take them down one by one, exploring every single nook and cranny of the places to find goodies.. I remember seeing some screenshots that showed the yellow outline on interactive stuff, and I was thinking "man, that's going to suck and make the game so easy/lame" but I was wrong, oh boy I was dead wrong. And the enviroments are so big, so many possibilities to go through. In one room with guards, I was stealthing around trying to kill them, sticking close and behind cover. After getting through with them all, I started to examine the room to find stuff, and realize all the different ways I could have gone through to kill them, or even to just leave them alone at all. If this doesn't get GOTY, nothing will.
sivispacem
Got it pre-loading from Steam as we speak. A question to those who have it so far- is it open-world or partially open-world, like the original was, or have they split it into missions? The interactions with civilians were amongst my favourite part of the original, particularly in some of the city maps like Battery Park- would be a shame if the game lacked them. Abel.
I'm really liking the look of this; the amount of player choice looks great. One of the main reasons I liked Crysis so much was the choice granted to the player to use stealth or action, and the freedom to explore the levels. It's going pretty cheap on eBay (about £15.99 from India for the PC version) so I might order it in a day or two. Sivis, this review indicates that the game is partially open world, such that open areas are explorable between missions. (That's not a plot spoiler, it just answers your question.) Civilians are interactable to the point where they will say something to you if you interact with them. Often related to in game events or giving their opinion on some subjects. They will also talk among themselves, discussing current events. Can be pretty handy to listen to them sometimes, as they drop subtle hints every now and then about places to go and stuff. Pretty awesome that in Shanghai, everyone speaks chinese (with subtitles). I was expecting them to just speak english like most games do, but they decided to keep things authentic. I'm still bloody impressed by that place, the atmosphere is so great, so perfect.

Tthats what I was hoping to hear- similar to the old game. -EDIT- though according to the article, not quite as open-world as the original. That's a pity, but still, very much looking forward to having a bash when it's released here (tomorrow). G The Generous
hell!my downloading process just 30% on Steam now.can't wait to touch this piece of art anymore
Tycek
I got this piece of art already. I preordered Augmented Edition and I gotta say I'm absolutely in love with it. I didn't play the game too much (damn, I need more free time), but I think this will be my new Fallout NV. Not in sense of gameplay or story, but in sense in time spent on this game. The Augmented Edition is great, box is great, additional disc is great and the artbook is lovely (too bad it doesn't have hard cover, but oh well.) Must have for people who love Dick's books, Blade Runner, Ghost in the Shell and previous Deus Ex games. Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? Hell if I know, but one thing is certain. I was dreaming about Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Tchuck
21 hours and I just beat the second boss, in Montreal, damn this game is awesome. I hear there's multiple endings, so if you want my advice, make your first playthrough as thorough as possible exploring every nook and cranny. Will make subsequent playthroughs easier (or not, depending on how you choose to play) and you'll be sure to extract as much as possible from the game before going for the other endings. G The Generous
^ I bet it will have many ending and some of it is depend on your choices in game I try to avoid all the information about the ending of this game since in these days it's just too easy to get spoil by some damn fags (even on the wikia itself, sometimes they put the spoil on top of the page ),and the story of this game is way too deep to getting spoiler, so I better play it as best as I can. thanks God due to the holiday in my country next week. I will have free times to spend with this baby for a week. hell yeah!

sivispacem
A query for anyone who pre-ordered. I got the Augmented Edition of Steam on the premise that it would be available with the two pre-order packs. It doesn't appear to be? Can anyone around here shed some light on this? Darkshade12
So guys, I was a HUGE fan of the original and played through it a million times. I didn't like the sequel (Invisible war) that much but i saw this game and i was wondering if i should buy it? Does it live up to the original? I really want this game to be good but i want to ask someone who has alredy got the game's opinion before spending any money. Also is the story long? G The Generous
^it's keeping the original gameplay and the story take you more than 25 hours to play just got my hand on this.it's f*ckING AWESOME,the intro really got me jizzed after the prologue.I always choose to stealth during mission, so great that level design is awesome as same as Deus Ex 1,which have many ways to process
Voodoo
I really love this game. The level design is excellent, the hacking mini game is awesome and the atmosphere is perfect. Every area I've infiltrated on a mission has had several routes through it by various means. The AI can be a little quirky, but that's a very minor thing considering the scope of the game. sivispacem
More than two hours in. Have yet to finish the first full mission section- just broke into the police headquarters. Crikey, what a well-thought-out, beautifully polished game. Really does hark back to the original. My one small gripe is- how come a man basically filled with robotics gets injured falling 5 feet?
