Look up some reviews on Deus Ex 1, then you will understand why everyone is excited for this one. Basically, the ability to play as you want. Stealthy? go ahead. Hacker? be my guest. The game world does look blocky and the yellow makes it look as if someone urinated all over the place, I also think that the character models look a bit too shiny. Anyway I'm not such a graphics whore, the only thing that bothers me is all that yellow.. and the main characters voice, and and few other things. Rage sounds much better . G The Generous Posted August 15, 2011 Share Posted August 15, 2011 ^well, you shouldn't judge the game by bunch of screenshot. in fact most of video & ingame footage from this game were made from Xbox. so if you play it on PC,probably you will got some perfect smooth stuff if you set it on high resolution or you can watch some beta leaked gameplay on Youtube. graphic was really good agree with you that this game is too much "orange-ish" and some models look blocky some how (well,it's a cyperpunk theme,so maybe they trying to do this). however, there might a option in setting allow you to redude ingame effect as many games had did. too bad my PC is really old, so I just could play it on low. wonder how it will turn out Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Being bad-ass doesn't make you a great character. I'm still wondering whether I should get this game when it comes out or months later. I've decided that I am going to get it but there's plenty of games already like that for me, so it's more of a question of when rather than if. The cinematic trailers are quite good though. Because there is the double barrel shotgun that I REALLY want, but it is the only thing missing from the regular price edition. I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about this and if these are just early unlocks, or if these will become free later or what? I dont know if I can justify spending £10 more on a game I dont even know if I want, for an imaginary gun that I may get regardless. Then again sh*t like splinter cell held back a shotgun that was preorder only and never released it. Even if the thing is available later it will probably be over a month, by that time I will probably be done with the game. Any suggestions? The main reason I ask is because its authentic, rather than futuristic made up weapons. It seems stupid to spend a whole £10 just for that, as I dont want the soundtrack or any of the other items with it, infact I dont want any of the preorder stuff, JUST the shotgun. If I can get the double barrel shotty through the game anyway I dont mind unlocking it, or buying it separately, but I dont want to wait a month for that sh*t. On the Wikia it says: # This weapon is available straight away in the booster packs that come with the pre-ordered version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Presumably it's hidden somewhere in the plot-line. I think a rifle like that would rather sway the balance in the player's favour early on in the game... I didn't think there was a mission associated with the weapon DLC. I thought one was extra missions, the other weapons.
