sivispacem
Easiest boss fight so far is Yelena Fedorova, i beat her in less than 2 minutes it just took 2 frag mines and a few bullets and she was defeated. I killed Namir without him even letting off a shot. Four frag mines at his feet and a crossbow bolt in the noggin, and he was down. AceRay
Whoever put those boss fights in the game needs a big fat kick in the balls. They were completely out of place, added nothing to the storyline and go against the non-linear way the rest of the game goes. After I beat the first boss, I actually dreaded playing again. They were horrible and usually happened because Jensen did something unforgivingly stupid. Worst part fo the game.

I think there is also a table full of guns and supplies and such on a table left to where you start so you can just stock up on those too.
SweatyPa1ms
Rented this game a few days ago and wasn't really expecting anything spectacular. Its a really good game actually. I highly recommend it. Especially if you liked: Half Life, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Batman: Arkham Asylum & Splinter Cell. Its basically a hybrid of all these great games . The combat, movement and a few other elements of the game have room for improvement but i'm really liking the story, augmentation trees and diversity in combat. It seems like a great game. Pity all the hype was on Dead Island when this was released. I would have liked to see the developers do a little better in terms of sales. In a parallel universe? The hype was never on Dead Island, what the hell are you on about? We got a new Deus Ex game after so many years of waiting and hype, and another mindless zombie game that no one cared about. And somehow you reached a conclusion that the hype surrounded Dead Island more than it did Deus Ex? Do you have any idea how stoked people were for a new Deus Ex game? Have you even played the original Deus Ex?

Have you even played the original Deus Ex? Maybe for you, but the mainstream community hyped the sh*t out of Dead Island. Certainly in England anyway. It was sold out everywhere for almost 2 weeks. I have been gaming my whole life since 88', dont worry i'm not one of these CoD generation retards so dont question my integrity as a gamer please... WAHHHHHHHH! I played the original briefly back in the day but mainly just watched my bro play it. I remember it being as highly rated as Zelda and Half Life. I think because Duke Nukem: Forever flopped so bad I started to doubt games from the same era like Deus Ex. I was always optimistic but never got my hopes up, its one of those games that has given me a nice suprise, they come around every once in a while. Feels good! My bro said the PC version is a blatent console port anyway so i'm glad I got it on my xbox. Edited September 24, 2011 by SweatyPa1ms

Basing a game on other games rating during that era, and then saying Deus Ex might be bad because the most recent Deus Ex came out at the same time as the most recent Duke Nukem, which happened to not be that good. Yep, makes sense.

SweatyPa1ms
Your bro is a f*ckin' idiot. Check your facts elsewhere. GTAvanja - Your a f*cking idiot, please dont insult my family again, I dont normally take things personally from strangers but you seem like your typical arrogant Yardie wank-stain. That, and the fact that my brother knows what he's talking about when it comes to PC's and especially gaming. f*ck off . Baptiste - Yeah, pretty retarded huh? Thats the way my head works sometimes. Sunrise Driver
Deus Ex 3 is really a console port. Admit the facts. But it's a good port, it's a nice game so I dunno why care about "port or not"?

That, and the fact that my brother knows what he's talking about when it comes to PC's and especially gaming. f*ck off . Blatant console port? That is not what any PC gamer would say about this game. There is no stupid mouse smoothing every console port has, it supports Dx11 and graphics are a lot better, GUI is made for PC, AI is more advanced, controls are intuitive, loading times are almost non-existent and it plays like a true PC game. There is nothing to indicate that it's a port except that devs said it is. If they didn't, you wouldn't even notice. They ported the main game, and they added PC stuff and removed console stuff. There is nothing wrong with that. Do you even have a brother, or is that just an excuse for you to talk about things you don't know anything about? I've seen it a couple of times. Someone says something stupid, you point it out, and their excuse is "oh, but my [insert family member or friend] told me so".

pyramid head
Did anyone notice the little lions dotted around the game? The first one can be found in the Windwill Apartments The second one can be found in the Sarif Industries building The third lion can be found in Xao's room The fourth lion can be found in Megan's room A fifth lion can be found in the Old Noodle Factory Found them here http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=122230 I haven't seen any so far, going to start keeping an eye out for them. Don't know if there are more of them. For anyone who hasn't done the Talion A.D side quest yet, it's better to let Zelasny and his men go as it's not worth getting into a fight with them as they are very well armed, when doing the quest it will tell you where they are up to a point after that the location marker will disappear and you will have to find them on your own, to find them go the storage unit where ning was being held prisoner in the side quest a rotten business and go down the steps into the drain and locate the sewer cover which should be open if you have allready been down there, you will find them sitting near a ladder. pyramid head
Tallion A.D. Why are you posting things like these? Let people play their games like they want. I'm not telling anyone how to play their game, i'm just letting them know which is the better option in the Talion A.D side quest, letting zelasny go gains the player a much needed advantage when walking around in Hengsha the second time Adam has to go there. What's wrong with giving advice to fellow Deus Ex HR players? If another member were to post some advice about a part of the game that could help other members i wouldn't go around accusing him of telling others how to play their game, i'd be glad of the help particularly if i had been stuck on part of the game for a while. I'm only trying to help people out not tell people how to play their game. Edited September 25, 2011 by pyramid head
Mati
Hey, after you make it into the police department in Detroit, you have to talk to that cop sitting in the booth. Just to try out, I failed that conversation, meaning I can't access the restricted areas without being shot. Is there any other way around? Tycek
Moonshield may be right. Sarif got pretty good implants, so maybe you should get one from them. http://sarifindustries.com/ But watch out, their page was recently hacked by Humanity Front. HF got their page, but it isn't working http://www.humanityfront.com/ I wonder why. Seriously, I love when developers and publishers are making things like this. It's briliantly connecting our world with this from the game. This pages are probably well known now, but I found them not so long ago and I thought that maybe someone haven't seen them yet. I also got problems with killing Lawrence, because I was playing character with speech and hacking, but barrels, grenades and a lot of slugs from shotgun bring Bull down.
