But I do agree, this is the best solution, sure it sucks, but if you have FireFox and that extension, you are mostly set. Yeah, we'd have IM/email/IRC bitching about why you f*ckers can't post. Yeah, but atleast with IM/email/IRC, you can just avoid it all. If you closed the forums, no one could post a topic where everyone bitches about how they can't post. ...or you could just take off for a while and let us keep the forum, thanks. But the matter of the fact is; have BBcode disabled so we can get a better site and no hackers? Or have a site that has a huge user base completely destroyed? Personally, I don't have a problem with images and links being temporarily disabled, considering the alternative. Besides, if you're using FireFox, you can download an add-on that converts text URLs into links (which doesn't work if people put certain links in code tags, but oh well).
