Bates_GTA
Well, i was a major fan of hearing the old 80's song's in Vice City & GTA III. They remind me of my experiences with GTA. GTA IV's radio station's though, didn't cut it for me, i found them all the same and boring. Where were the classics. For example GTA III had Flashback FM & my favourite RISE FM. Then there was Vice City, had alot of great tunes from the 80's. Even San andreas had some classics. I hope for more Rise FM style music & Flashback fm style in the neXt gta What do you hope for? Angelo Leone
Make it like SA,varied and diverse.Especially classic country and classic rock. We need some Johnny Cash and Creedence Clearwater Revival.
OmarM
I really liked GTA Vice City and San Andreas for the radios. Al that classic hits awesome! GTA IV they got only new songs no classics that do not sucks but i don't like it. I hope that in the next GTA(s) they have some more classic hits . Tony Mozzarelli 80
Flashback FM was definitely one of my favourites. I also miss Double Cleff FM, i think they just added the music this time around to accommodate the ZIT function

Or flashback FM for all the old tunes you remember from ages ago.
Flesh-n-Bone
As long as they put some hip hop music before 1995, I'm as good as happy and will stick to that one all the time unless they put some decent 80's pop like Flashback.
08LasVenturas
I really hope for late 90's early 2000's rock, particularly post-grunge. I made a list on this page (Scroll down a bit, first post): http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=366221
Gabriel Constantin
In GTA NeXt I think they need to have: Rock Stations Classic Rock (Radio X, V-Rock, Liberty Rock Radio etc.) Heavy Metal Punk Rock (LCHC etc.) Hip-Hop Old School East Coast West Coast Electronic Dance House Trance Talk Shows Classical Reggae Etc. I think that would keep most people happy.
Bates_GTA
Yeah. Like i said Rise FM, was my drem station, i even downloaded the tunes from it and stuck them on my Ipod. For example check this out.. All the best tunes there, none even like them featured in GTA IV, That is why i wasn't a fan of them I do respect it is modern day settings though. xXCombatWombat
San Andreas had the best soundtrack IMO. Hopefully more Grunge and some Hard Rock ...GTA 4's soundtrack was awful.
Nikofan112
Wait, how did GTA IV have no classic music? The entire JNR station was classic jazz.
Straznicy
Wait, how did GTA IV have no classic music? The entire JNR station was classic jazz. Classic Jazz is not Classical. The latter is the type of music you'd see performed by an orchestra and composer. Rockstar are always going to have the core of Rock, Rap and Electronic - you're rarely going to find someone who doesn't like at least one. What I liked about SA and IV is that Rockstar tried to capture the local sound a bit more with RLS and LCHC/JNR respectively. I'd like to see New England and a Celtic Punk radio. Yeah thanks for clearing that up . As for classic dance, i want more, LCS had the right sort of music, but GTA III was the best for music in my opinion, I can looks back and it remins me of the game aswel as olden times. Double Cleff Fm from Gta III was classical and there was one good song on it Double Cleff fm was only used when i had Salvatore in the car or i was driving some of the Mafia family around in a Limo or Setinel. Couldn't stand it personally.

bugoy
K TRON - Nice. Rise FM - Nice, GTA3/LCS reference. Wave 107 - More like Wave 103 of Vice/VCS NV Underground - Cut down on the house music. "Underground" sounds good though. C8 Radio - I don't get it, maybe call it Riot FM (I've always wanted to see it as a pop-rock station's name) Head 100 - GTA IV was planning to bring it back, so this would be a definite yes. Enemy FM - ...or "Street Beat" or "The (place name) Beat" maybe... Liquid FM - ? Emerald 94 - Dunno what breaks are, but awesome name. NVTR - Yes. Talk radio is very important. Dhol FM - Eliminate this. Hench 99 - Try Yardie Radio/Yardie FM/bring K-JAH back... The Glitch - Nice name. Energize FM - Enough house, please. Splash FM - Yes, there must be a jazz station in the next GTA. Classic Rock, Top 40, Oldies - please put them in.
Mokrie Dela
We need some Johnny Cash THIS IV lacked a metal station ,and a country one. But the music in IV was good. LRR was very good, Radio Broker was alright, Fusion was cool. I even listen to San Juan, and the dance ones in BOGT Tuff gong was awesome. The only "dud" in IV for me was Massive B - it ruined the songs. and classical music - IV REALLY lacked that. The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing. hadji87
What would be even better is having a custom radio station where you can add your favourite songs so when you switch over to the custom radio station, you can listen to your favourite songs or, when you switch to the custom radio station, pick the album you want to listen to
DCTF
I disagree completely, IV had tons of classics. David Rodigan's whole station was beautiful. Really well chosen music overall, even on the stations I didn't think I'd like. That said, I was playing on PC so I had the best choice of the stations plus Independence FM. Actually, what I meant was, was to have the original radio stations such as Vice City FM, Head Radio, The Vibe etc. and have an all-new radio statio called 'Custom Radio' where if you choose to listen to that radio station, you can pick any song which you have downloaed onto your ps3 or 360 hard drive to listen to for eg. if you copy Do It Like A Dude by Jessie J onto your console hard drive, you will hear the song on the custom radio station

All I had to do was point a shortcut at my external HD's music library, and I had a channel which played random tracks from my collection. There was an option for it to be music only, or if you wanted it you could have ad breaks, Weazel news and a special announcer to provide continuity. On one hand I'd like you console owners to have that too, but on the other hand anything that justifies the PC version's existence should probably stay there. Please.
