Is it another toggle in the clothing system or are the gloves attached to certain tops? There are no gloves sections in the clothing stores and it seems unlikely the stores would be remodeled for this. Be careful what you wish for. When console crowds saw those first screenshot they ware all (most of them) stupefied. How PC gamers react to early screenshots? Well, it can definitely be better as it seems GTA is a bit dated (which is quite understandable since the game has been developed for years). What really scares me are the possible sequels. They will look like absolute sh*t if they are pretty crappy at this day and age. When next GTA comes to PC, the modern PC games will make it look like a sad a withered piece of crap. The pc version is not ready yet, and its possible they are not with best settings. I mean, draw distance and stuff isnt maxed out. I think so its something like i said. I mean, considering the bredeth of the games, the graphics are not going to be amazing. In my estimation, they look pretty good. Also the drawn distance is noticable on a few screenshots. Seems like they are using the same filter, but it does not kci in until it is a bit further away. Also to address the sequels issue. If they do release sequels based on this engine, it will be the same as 3, vc, and sa. They will just make it better until the point where it needs a new engine, and it will switch. SA was graphically far superior to 3. I think, at this point, I am just glad R* hasn't bailed on us like alot of developers are starting too. Lucasarts comes to mind. I was shocked that Force Unleashed was not getting a pc release. Anyway, I think we will see some improvment, but lets be happy with the fact it actually exists, and we will get to play it. Stop whining "if it looks like/less than the console Im not buying" THEN DONT... I know I am buying because I want to PLAY... Beat my brother with a baseball bat... ... Who gives a crap about eye candy... Its about having FUN with friends (or singleplayer if wanted)... Come one, enjoy the game for what it is... If you want fancy GFX then play Crysis (1/2 when 2 is released)... Lets just enjoy the game... AND thank GOD its even coming out on the PC... Remember everyone going "omz ugly fukin blur felter" when they saw the pre release console screens, only to find it looks wonderful ingame? I can't wait. mod it with Nitrous Oxide and chassis dyno. Maybe if it wasn't ANNOUNCED that the PC version will have beefier textures and lighting i could see teh point in uneducated arguing, but.....it's been stated. It looks better. Don't agree? As I and others have said, it needs plenty of polish and AA/AF. Luckily, we have 3 months for them to do their work. Let's keep our fingers crossed. I want to be WOWed! I can usually run most new games at max settings at 1680 1050 but if there's the slightest hint of slowdown i'd rather sacrifice a bit of AA for example and have the game run silky smooth. That's one of the main things that strikes me when i see new console games, the developers always push the graphics engine until it starts to struggle and that's what they keep it at. Played GTA4 for the first time on PS3 last week and the slowdown in fps really was noticeable when going round corners or weaving through traffic. The GTA IV PC comparison reminds me of Blu-Ray vs. DVD -- everybody can see which one is better but DVD doesn't suck enough to make Blu-Ray a must-have. The San Andreas-era consoles were like VHS.
