radioman
Try going into the install directory, by default on the "C" drive, by going under "my documents", clicking search, type in "Rockstar Games" in the top box, skip the second, and in the third box select the drive you installed it to, by default the "C" drive. the game folder should pop up, click on Rockstar games, then delete the entire SA folder their, then go to the user files' directory in My Documents and delete the .set file and you should be good to go. Also you can try going under Start-Control Panel-add/remove programs and deleting it manually that way too. Hope this helps.
Girish
In case you have Vista, do this: 1) Uninstall SA. 2) Delete the installation folder if it still exists. (e.g. C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas). 3) Delete the Virtual Store copy of the installation folder too. The Appdata folder might be hidden. (e.g. C:\Users\???\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas). 4) Delete the gta_sa.set file from your user files folder. 5) Reboot. 6) Reinstall SA. If not, then radioman's suggestion should work fine.

Girish
I guess I will donwload one of registry cleaners. That would be a good option and should most certainly rid you of your problem. CCleaner is a good free registry cleaner.
catarazer
Well, i found another solution. I downloaded GTA SA 007, which was installed as soon I downloaded file. The game works but there's another problem . There are mods everywhere. If there would be just thoose which are in 007 package that would be fine. But there are mods from my previous deleted game. I WANT TO GET RID OF THEM BECAUSE MY GAME CRASHES EVERY TIME. If anyone knows for a program or mod that would give back the first cars, please tell me. And thanks for helping me
Girish
What about a clean installation of the game without any mods? Does it still crash? And I hope you deleted the set file from the User Files folder.

It looks like this: download it and start playing if you know what I mean. And yes i deleted the .set file

Girish
I just downloaded ZIP file in which game was installed. Then i opened the file and started playing What you have is termed as warez and is strictly prohibited on GTAF. Not to mention, that is one of the reasons why your game doesn't work. Please buy the game if you want it to work properly.
