MasterVampire Posted August 20, 2008 Share Posted August 20, 2008 I really love GTA4, however I kinda feel like its lacking a bit with features taken out, design choices etc.. However i reckon the next gta game to come out will be the best in the '4 series' Like GTA3, it was such a great game at the time, i loved it so much and thought no game could surpass it but then came Vice City. It was like the listened to all the feedback on GTA3 and made what was already a great game even better. -slightly better draw distance and graphics -motorbikes!!! -helicopters!!! -soundtrack -buyable places -gangs -clothes -stores etc... etc... Takes time to make something this good That doesn't make scene...if it takes so much longer than a rear to make something 'this good' then why is Vice City so great? The OP has a point though. The '4 series' has so much untapped potential that would make the next game absolutely amazing! That being said I already think GTAIV is amazing. In the III canon, VC came out and was better than its predecessor. Then came SA and that was the best one, IMO. It had the most features and you can tell R* spent the most time and money on that game (For the III canon, that is). So, I'm guessing the third game in the IV canon series will be the best. GTA IV was f*cking excellent for me, great story, graphics, details euphria ect., But it got boring real quick, and MP is starting to be the same. I will admit that I have more fun with other games. For example, I have had Super Smash Bros Brawl (Wii) every since it's release date, which was March 9, 2008. I have completed the game, and unlocked every single character and stage, and the game is still extremely fun. Not to mention that I play alone most of the time. I think the next GTA for the Consoles/PC will definitely make for GTA IV's lacking features and a lot more, but I won't get my hopes up. Time will tell. Yeah I agree. GTA IV is only the start for this canon. That's why I think they made IV basic. I reckon the IV equal to SA will be incredible.
