Cursed
Well, I am setting up my own GTA fansite/help website with forum. I am quite an amateur when it comes to designing complex websites. Before you shout at me (Website veterans), it is used with tables, so it's "Improper table usage". I'd like some advice on improvements I could make, or things that should be changed. I haven't yet bought the domain, so you will have to use the subdomain. URL: gtahq.previzion.org Thanks in advance.
TheRoper
Not a horrible design, though I think it's a bit too "futuristic" for a GTA site personally. Main reason I'm posting though, is because I always wonder what compels people to make a "GTA Help/News/Guides/Forum" site, and then ask for help here. GTANet is by far the largest and most popular GTA resource out there; what's the point in duplicating it..? And I don't mean to offend BTW... If you're just making a site for sh*ts-and-giggles, and to create a small community to call your own, then go for it. Just don't expect to be a competitor any time soon. Still, good luck and have fun with it. It looks better than 80% of the sites that get linked in here, so that's good... But tables for layout always equals instant-fail in my book...
