makeshyft
Tips? Take a book, and prepare for a lot of waiting. Extra work usually involves sitting around and waiting to be called on set, though the food is generally quite good.

DJBillyB
awww was looking forward to pass on my acting experience then lol!!! anyway if you ever do go on any extra work, as makeshyft says, working on a film set weather it be as an extra or an actor it can be a very very long day spent most of the day !! one set i was on took us 14 hours to do a scene that only lasted 5 minuets long. ok my bad i did keep messing up a line, but all lighting, sound, cameras set etc it takes a LOOOOONG time :zZz
Creed Bratton
You should be the protagonist not an extra

Mister Pink
Here's me and a few mates as extras on The Tudors Season 3. Thes were taken in Wicklow, Ireland. It was loads of fun. Got paid nearly €500 for four days work to drink coffee, smoke cigarettes, buzz off the lads and eat excellent food! Very long days though!!! We played rebel Pilgrims from the north of England. We were rebeling against Cromwell taking all our wealth and bringing in lots of taxes. Me Ger. MOVING LIKE BERNIE
TheRoper
I've worked on a number of different films in various capacities and yeah, long-ass days with good food pretty much sums it up. When you spend a whole entire day to get maybe 5 minutes of footage, you can see why movies cost so damn much to make. Haha. $$$ MAKE MONEY WITH NEOBUX $$H
Ronnyboy
I was once an extra in a local food commercial. Sure all I did was smile, look at a camera while they filmed me eating this cold Spaghetti. But it was all worth it, because I was famous for a day until no one cared I was in a commercial. Of course you were in a food commercial. In fact, here's a cookie What, you don't believe me? It was for an Italian restaurant, not far away from where I live. The same guy who owns the restaurant, owns a bar my Mom used to work at. He was asking if anybody knew some teens or young children for his Ad. So my Mom signed me up, and I was on TV two months later when the bastard finally got air time after the news was finished.
