can't do that special someone

I've done the missions: weekend at florians, Pest control and liquidize the assets

but i still can't haven't got a message from u.l.Paper that i can do the last missions

so what did i do wrong?

(following gta4.net i had tot these missions before you can do the special someone mission)

but the only mission i haven't done are the last two from bernie

but they haven't sait that they are neccesary for the last missions

Try doing the Bernie missions and let us know if that has any affect. I too was under the impression they weren’t needed for the mission your after to be available.

I am having the same problem. I have completed all chapter 1/2/3 missions (everyone is at 100% except Roman on stats), sleep mode is not active.

 

I've seen lots of people on different forums posting about this exact issue but no-one seems willing to even say that it's a bug - since waiting for the phonecall i've finished all of the race missions, all assassinations and all of the most-wanted missions too, so it has been many many hours of waiting with no result. I can't even phone anyone in the book, every person i try to call is just responding with the answering machine.

 

please help, i just want to finish the game without restarting.
