Slamman Posted August 20, 2008 Share Posted August 20, 2008 Not sure if anyone else besides me got stuck here, but to recap, you drive the boat as an escort when you come under fire, How do you avoid getting your "precious cargo" killed (Damaged?)? Prfctpersistent Posted August 20, 2008 Share Posted August 20, 2008 this mission was hard for me as well because i kept overturning the boat but to me it seemed that the men on the other boat never died even with shooting them until they got off and ran away on the docks i was right behind them firing and they didnt die so i waited and followed them but kept my distance but not too far and drove the boat safely eventually they stopped at the dock and all piled out of the boat and as they did i shot them all Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
saintdave Posted August 20, 2008 Share Posted August 20, 2008 Try and stay close to Kim (cargo boat) and only behind or either side, never ahead. Vary your positioning to the boat so you can take the damage from oncoming attackers, being in these areas also gives Derrick better chance to shoot them down himself and if your going on a steady straight you can fire off a few shots yourself. Dave- If you don't start towards the boat you're supposed to be protecting as soon as the mission starts, you won't be close enough for your mate to let rip at them, and you fail. Slamman Posted August 23, 2008 Author Share Posted August 23, 2008 I think Three Leaf Clover maybe easier then this mission, but not much. I still can't pass it and I did TLC twice already! I have trouble shooting the heli as well, it's not lock on target. I did stop driving the boat earlier to shoot the boas with the "red" arrow, but that is diffcult as mentioned, your main goal is just to get to the bridge where Derrick assumes the boat control. Slamman Posted August 25, 2008 Author Share Posted August 25, 2008 I think you may refer to "TRIANGLE" on a PS pad to enter or exit a vehicle, in this case, when you do the rocket launcher? I've still yet to pass this. I'm at 52 odd percent, finally. Two saved games. I also spend some of the day outrunning a 4 star wanted level with a blade of life left.
