Royal84 Posted August 19, 2008 Share Posted August 19, 2008 Hi first post here on gtaforums hello all no formal introduction post for me just gonna jump right into it here it goes. I use the taxi more than anything to get around in gta4, its like gta's version of oblivion's fast travel, but instead of clicking an area on the map u find a taxi. I love the implementation of the taxi it gives you time you can set the controller down for a smoke break while the taxi is on its way to whatever destination or skip the drive with the A button; so i actually feel bad that i am going to nit pick at the fact that the limos were not included as public transportation. Why? Well if you recall there is a tv in all of your safe houses, wouldn't that have been cool to wave down a limo and watch the gta tv stations in the back of the limo? Just some wishful thinking here but this is something i'm sure is effortless for the developers to implement as the gta tv is in the game and as well is the taxi and limos. To ride in a limo would be pretty flash, especially if they had TVs like you suggested. Well, I guess Rockstar could have added a ton of features, who knows why they didn't. Ya it would be cool because it would kinda add a class type element thing like once you've acquired a large sum of money then you could always afford to take those nice limo rides instead of the taxi. True i agree they could have added tons of stuff, i love the game and am not trying to disagree with the developers just an idea that came to me while playing the game. Lol i feel like a dumb ass that's true. Then possibly a call service through the cell phone perhaps? I found it funny that they said the limos have shooting ranges. I use the shooting ranges in the limos but it usually ends in a disaster for the driver. But that would be a great Idea to be able to call a limo service and then take your friends out in it. A limo on your way to the strip club with Jacob would be sweet. It's on a touch screen and you can watch a few different things, only news not sitcoms and whatnot. While you can watch the news, you can also see where you are on your way to your destination.
