CAD167
Hello! A friend of mine has an interesting problem with the game. He could complete the game before, but there is a bug or something, so he can't start some missions. He has also reinstalled the system, after he tried to reinstall the game. As he tries to get the mission (this happened at missions "Weekend Warrior" and "Burning Desire"), as he says the screen goes blue, and nothing helps, only a reboot. He downloaded a NoDVDCrack and bugfix, and it usually works, but not every time. With a downloaded save game, he could continue the game with the next mission. Can anyone tell me what's the problem? Girish
Err...I haven't come across any mission named 'Weekend Warrior'! Anyways, has your friend purchased the game or downloaded it? Does he have mods installed? Also, it'd be a good idea to post the system specifications.

gtamodder
Since you said the screen goes blue, does it display a blue screen of death? It's where it says "A problem has been detected". If so, try running the game in 98 compatibility mode.
CAD167
Heh... He said Weekend Warrior, I don't know the real name of the mission... I think he meant the mission "Robbing Uncle Sam".... And yes, he has downloaded it, and hasn't installed any mods to the game. I'll ask the specifications... But I don't think the problem is in the hardwares, because he used to be able to play the game. Then, after a long break, he tried the game again, but the problem came, and he thought the best thing he could do is to reinstall the system. After this, he got the problem partly solved, but still comes up sometimes. And it doesn't say anything, but i think that Win98 compatibility is a good idea. Girish
And yes, he has downloaded it, and hasn't installed any mods to the game. Well, unfortunately for your friend, GTAF does not support warez. Your friend will have to buy the game legally.
