Dwayne: Is so damn depressing..

It's amazing R* did'nt include a 'slap sense into him' button, when he's talking about depressing stuff over and over.

 

If you take out Dwayne enough times(for activities, not dating..lol) you know how depressing this guy can be, even to the point where Niko tells him many times to stop it.

 

You know, you would think the best of developers can add in what is so obviously a 'no brainer' feature into it's game.

 

Dwayne over and over speaks about something that bothers him(be it his prison time or Playboy X's death or just not being able to handle life itself), in a depressing manner, that any gamer would love to press the action button to smack some sense into him.

 

Dwayne: "Hey Niko, damn i'm wondering why i even wanted out of prison, nothing is going right for me.."

 

Niko: "Co'me Dwayne, you really need to stop the depressing talk, ok? "

 

An icon arrpears on screen:

'Press X to slam up Dwayne, so sense'

 

You hit the button and Niko slaps up Dwayne, and says after

"I'm sorry friend, but you just cannot keep this attitude"

 

Dwayne: "Damn Niko that's heavy..but thanks i needed it"

 

Do you know how many times i just wanted to climb inside the tv to slap him up myself?

Once i got him to like Niko 100%(lol..., does this make sense?), i canceled all his calls from then on, as his attitude was just too much to handle.

What if you lost everything? Would you want to be slapped in the face by a friend of yours and have him tell you to STFU and not show any sympathy towards you? They should have a command to slap Brucie and tell him to STFU for being cocky about having it all made. Brucie is a good character but he is very annoying to listen to, I hate having to hear him yelling at Niko all the time and calling him "Alphamale" or "You're cold, ice cold" or anything else he says every 5 seconds.

I agree with the OP completely lol. Whenever I pick up Dwayne, he'll start saying something like "Man, I think I know a reason why I'm so messed up. See, when I was a kid, my dad..." and in real life, I'll be like "Aggghhhh SON OF A BITCH!! I gotta listen to another one of his stories?!"

 

One time when I was just messing around and wasn't gonna save the game, Dwayne called me to go do something, and I picked him up in a helicopter. Well, bottom line is, Dwayne ended up *accidently* falling off a huge skyscraper

I killed him on my first run though and was planning to kill dwayne on this run through.

 

First time I never got dwayne like or respect anywhere and I can no longer call him.

 

 

And to slightly keep on topic, I think Dwayne is depressed becasue of all the shower fun he had in prison...

I think it would have been perfect if you had some sort of dialogue options when you are conversing with people.

So when Dwayne goes on one of his self loathing rants, you could choose, either to be sympathetic, or to slap the

whining bitch and tell him to f*cking snap out of it and question his masculinity. Maybe it would affect his respect

for you, depending on whether you respond correctly at the right times

About Dwayne, i actually like him the most as a friend, as Brucie is just too 'juiced up' to handle all the time, Packie seems ok but he gets attitute at times, and i cannot understand Jacob most of the time..lol (unless he's saying 'repect')

 

Dwayne is the most realistic like character, but i was just thinking it would be nice to eithier slap him up(ok, that's a bit too far) or just a option to have Niko say something positive to pick up Dwayne.

 

This goes for Niko telling Brucie to "STFU" at times..lol, or even to challenge his masculinity(Brucie hints a bit at being a possible homosexual/bisexual).

 

For Jacob, it would be nice for the option to 'press X to tell Jacob to speak slower or more clearly'

 

One more thing, it's too bad there was no option to sadisticaly kill Eddie Low(serial killer), to make him suffer like others he killed.

Me too, I was like...Playboy wants to help the community and be a better person. Dwanye is depressed and wants to die anyway (I killed his girlfriend). I even knew that you get Playboy's house and money, I still killed the depressed guy out of pity. Same with the drug addict guy that betrayed Niko.
