zoro594
I heard this before in a couple different forums... I've always thought that a higher rank doesn't give you an advantage... but lately I've noticed that it isn't true. Higher rank has to give you further shooting range and damage, I played last night with a rank 7 (I'm a rank 4, almost 5) and he could reach me with the same gun I had, and I couldn't reach him. Also when I play with higher rank people they can take me out with a shot or two, when I have to get a few more in. Even headshots. So is it true? Does a higher rank give you any advantage, or am I trippin'?
Erados
You're trippin'. Maybe it was auto-aim on and he could manually aim you before your AA could lock on. Maybe He was skilled and was letting you advance until the second you were in range. Maybe reticule health was off so you just THOUGHT he was out of range because you didn't see his red life thing. It's also impossible to kill anyone with a single shot unless it's a sniper bullet to the head or an explosion. 2 shots to the head with an assault rifle or M4 will do it. Some people are just good at getting the shots in immediately.

And no, it makes no difference if you're alevel 4 or level 10. It simply comes down to experience and co-ordination.

The correct term is most definately level. Try getting your facts straight mate!
JONPAUL2109
the other guy i right it is called your level NOT RANK ie LVL 10 The only thing i have noticed being lvl 10 is that you drop twice as much cash when you are killed in a deathmatch or Tdm this if anything makes it harder to win a deathmatch because it may come down to a few hundred $$$$
Furnace
Trivial argument or what And, you can shoot people if even if they are out of AA range, maybe he was just doing that? Or maybe they were inside of spawn protection so you just thought they weren't taking damage because they're higher rank? I mean... level? I must admit though sometimes people kill me and I just have no idea how they did it. I consider myself fairly good.
Celtic_Assasinz
The correct term is infact level, check it out next time you play and it shows the results screen. You'll see something along the lines of "$2500 needed for next level up". You definately are trippin man, it doesn't give the higher ranked players an advantage. If anything you're at a disadvantage being of a higher rank. The higher the rank you are, the more cash you drop when you die. Level 10's drop 2 bundles of cash. So leveling up is a disadvantage in that sense but the status symbol of a nice shiny star next to your name makes up for it.
Prfctpersistent
The persons probably been playing for a while and gotten his tips and tricks down it's happened I used to be very bad at DM and TDM like I used to get killed 30 times and only kill like 9 people but I played and played and got better and better now I can get 30 something kills and only die 8 timesit just takes practice the more you play the more you learn. Erados
And it goes the other way around too, you can go from 30 kills 9 deaths to 9 kills 30 deaths if you don't keep playing.
Juice By Kayla Marie
I call it rank and level, I'm rank 10 and I don't see any advantages besides clothing, a huge disadvantage is you drop two wads of cash instead of one. roughly 17-27 is dropped. Prfctpersistent
Yep it happened to me like that too I stopped playing for a bit and got rusty and kept getting killed and 2 wads if youre rank 10? Thats not fair although thatll probably make other people come after you more because of the loads you drop if you die
