I need a definitive answer!

I'm really starting to dislike the higher ranked players. I, for one, have no problem playing with n00bs and low ranked players, even if it means losing some games. More and more I see the high ranked players all want to group up on one team, or play alone. I'll have people join my team and then if a 4 star or something joins, they move teams and expect me to do so as well.

 

I also seem to get a lot of kick votes lately from the higher ranked players when the room goes to me after a game and I turn AA off. Or as one guy put it tonight "c'mon man, we're both 8's, turn auto aim on". Whatever that means.

 

Higher ranks are more likely to quit out of games that aren't going their way.

 

They are more likely to taunt others for no reason after a game.

 

The thing of it is, most of these 8's took forever to get there so how good are you really when you've had GTA 4 for months and only recently got to 8?

 

For the record, I ranked up to 8 with my roomie, ranked up to 8 by myself and ranked up to 5 with my troll account. I honestly wish you had an option to turn your rank off.

I agree with you Superjude. Rank/Level means nothing except that you play the game often. You can't judge someone's skill from their level alone.

 

I don't mind lower level guys joining my team, or me joining their team. I remember the last time I joined a random TDM, there was 3 teams. Orange with 4 players, green with 4 players and red with 2 players (the 2 guys had headsets) so I joined the red team. Then I receive a vote to be kicked. Then they start mouthing off, so they tried to switch team leaving me on red alone. But I switched to green and made a point to pick on the 2 guys on their own.

 

They soon tried to join my team in the next game, but I left.

 

 

I used to care about rank and want to rank up, especially to the shiny stars. But now I don't see the point. I know quite a few level 4's, 5's and 6's who could get one over on me.
