GTA3 had 32 bits textures on pc. You must play the game on a Nintendo Nes to have is on 8 bits 90 % of the game's textures were 8 bit. OMG... You clearly have no idea what you are talking about... Werven Posted August 19, 2008 Share Posted August 19, 2008 I must admit, III looked better on ye old Xbox but that was because it was a bad port, and you needed a really good PC to make it look good. F*ck, my PC can run III fine, but the graphics are even worse than the PS2 version; with a weird grain like filter over the game. However, R* have made progress with ports to the PC and I expect IV to be a pinnacle of what they can achieve. They've certainly got the money and expertise to do so. I play gta sa on the pc all the time and trust me its 100x better then any console. Its so clean and clear it would be next gen if the physics and models were better. DjMiikkii Posted August 20, 2008 Share Posted August 20, 2008 higher resolution, higher framerates, better colours. although i dont think playing the game at 2560x1600 will make it look TOO much better, because of the filter that they put on to give it better framerates. i dont know if its being taken off the pc version but if it isnt it will still look similar. just my opinion!
