Ruddy Pay & Spray

This may have been posted before, but I thought I'd just make a new topic as I can't seem to find the other topics.

 

I find that whenever I put an Infernus in a Pay and Spray, it'll change to a dark green colour. I don't particularly like that colour, so I'll try and change it, but it NEVER changes. I'll put the car in the Pay and Spray 10 times and not once will it change colour. I'll even bash my car about and it still doesn't change colour.

 

Now, I'm not sure if this is a bug of any sort, but I thought I'd post it anyway.

 

Does anybody else experience this kind of problem?

I think I have heard of this problem on these forums before. Try a different Pay 'N' Spray or save your Infernus in another Residential Parking Space, reload your game and try it then .

That's what was happening to mine. I think there's a colour loop, as in the car cycles through all its possible colours. When the Infernus gets to dark pearlescent green I think it's the last one, so it doesn't change.

 

The Huntly sport does this, it gets stuck on beige. I'm not sure if others do. Sucks I know.

 

After I got mine stuck on that colour, I drove around in it so others spawned, then changed the colour on a fresh one to classic Lamborghini green =)

Once, when I went into the Pay 'N Spray with my Infernus, it changed to a dark blue colour. So, keep on trying, mate. There might be a chance it'll change. You never know.

several cars have this issue not just the infernus...the vincent sometimes gets stuck between silver and light blue...so every time u go in and come back out its silver, blue, silver, blue, silver...etc

 

the cavalcade....modded one w/ speakers in the back seems to get stuck on black....not that thats a bad thing b/c it looks wicked in black and thats how i like it but annoying to know it is stuck that way

 

best advice is what was said above...drive around until another respawns and try to wait 4 the color u want...easiest way to ensure you have what u want

This problem isn't only in IV, however. It has been happening in the past GTA games, too. Its really annoying.

I think if you damage it then it'll change the colors, at least in the previous GTA's.

Yeah I found that if when you spray that car, it only goes one colour.

 

I wanted a white one

 

So I just stole it.

 

 

PS: And would it be much trouble is R* could let us chose the colour? Surely we should be able to by now.

I know, eh? I was very dissapointed that they took away the modding garages from SA. I wish they had a comeback! It was way better going there than the Pay 'N Spray because you got to choose the colour and everything! Also, it gets repaired/cleaned, too.
