Hello!,I am employed at the Washington Taxi,can to see in Mod Showroom/Vehicles in my topic,the case is that now I him am adding minimal details to the vehicle and on having exported it or does not appear or appears without wheels,doors,etc...this has never happened to me, but this preventing this me from working,some suggestion?,some solution?,or I stop using 3DMAX and use zModeler?,I wait for solutions and suggestions,thanks!

Certainly,like always,I add details to the vehicle,atach,export everything with hisher corresponding file .COL and when I visualize the vehicle in GGMM or it appears without doors,without wheels and without anything,only the chassis or directly it does not appear at all...and to f*ck I have seen in another topic a user who has done 5 police cars in a little time with zModeler...

The problem is that I do not understand this program,is it a better zModeler that 3DMAX?, there can be done all the modifications that I do with 3DMAX?

I used 3DSMAX briefly, I couldn't figure it out. confused.gif

Learned to make stuff in ZMod in under 10 minutes. Read the tutorials, and it's much easier than pie, you don't even have to cook it. lol.gif

only bad thing is that you have to register to import San Andreas DFF's. It's $60 USD to register, I registered a few years ago when it was only $42, and it was entirely worth it.

No,ZMod automatically exports,no need selecting.

Use the "Reset Xform" Modifier pal, also detach from the hierarchy and attach again, that must fix both problems, size and position, also i suggest you to make any extra part of the vehicle a child object of Chassis (the 3D Mesh, not the dummy)

3D Studio Max is more complete than Zmodeler for videogames developing wink.gif Rockstar used it for GTA.

 

Your extras coordinates must be 0,0,0. Just select the heirarchy tab, click 'pivot only' (with your extra selected) and put at the bottom's boxes (the coordinates boxes) 0,0,0...

 

Looks like that will solver the problem of your pictures.

No...esto no resuelve mi problema...pincho en el icono Hierarchy,pivot only con el objeto seleccionado y pongo las coordenadas de los 3 cuadros en 0 y nada,sigue apareciendo encima del capo y el objeto yo lo tengo colocado perfectamente en el techo del vehiculo... suicidal.gif

 

Not...this does not solve my problem...I puncture in the icon Hierarchy,pivot only with the selected object and put the coordinates of 3 pictures in 0 and at nothing, it continues appearing on the bonnet and the object I have it placed perfectly in the roof of the vehicle... suicidal.gif
