Vive La France
I saw that on Gizmodo... It has a feel of viral marketing. This is a long shot, but could it be a viral marketing scheme for a new film?

You mean another one of George Lucas's-Series ruining-cash cowing-film? If so, I am seriously not interested, and doesn't Star Wars take place a Long Time Ago, in a galaxy far, far away? So that means the earth would either be destroyed or in a futuristic type of view if it were to be about the Death Star blowing up the earth. Machida
How did a thread starting with the deathstar, lightsabers, shiney helmets, small men dressed as Ewoks and Hayden Christiansen get so gay?. ...Oh wait, Hayden Christiansen.

It would screw up the storyline, but look at it from this perspective. Remember when Cloverfield came out, and there was a website set up just to advertise the film, which had random pics and no one knew what it was. This is pretty similar. A video is leaked to the internet to spark interest. Or some college students majoring in a pointless class at Berkley just got an A plus on their final exam. The latter probably. Yeah, there is another one now that leads to a supposed Cloverfield sequel. I mean, this maybe viral marketing, maybe for a game, maybe for a movie, or a joke for some nerdy Star Wars convention. Starion
hmm.. If this is a viral marketing scheme.. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is out soon. OOH OOH Or I bet it's a 'funny' parody movie made by the creators of Scary Movie. ..The makers of every other recent 'funny' movie. mod it with Nitrous Oxide and chassis dyno.
