Ah, dusting / vacuuming, in my opinion some of the mundanest and pointless tasks around. Minutes after you have dusted, especially on dark surfaces you can see the dust piling back up again, making you wonder why did I just bother? Light surfaces you can of course get away with for much longer before it's noticeable but of course it eventually needs doing, I find usually it's a few days. Vaccuuming, providing you aren't a complete slob doesn't I find have to be done for ages, perhaps weeks. I usually do these when I feel like it and it NEEDS doing, which is rare. It seems such as waste of time.

So GTAFers, what are your views? POAL attached for voting goodness.

Waste of much needed TV time.

When the dust makes your TV not visible, don't blame anyone but yourself.

Meh. As long as some idiot twat doesn't type "Clean Me!" on it, it doesn't bother me.

As long as the dust is spread out equally, you can barely see a difference anyway.

Think about it, your whole life, you wipe your TV screen, what? 10.000.000 times, taking up 5-10 seconds each time.

7,5 X 10.000.000 = a whole lot of time, wasted.

I've got a black TV stand and at the moment it actually looks Grey, my TV is pretty dusty aswell. That gives you an idea of how often i polish and hoover up tounge.gif.

It's a waste of time anyway as like you said as soon as you finish polishing all the dust piles back on within seconds and when you hoover up you get sock fluff all over it.

I've got my mum and dad moaning about the dust on my telly lol.

My room's a total mess and absolutely dirty. I haven't cleaned it in the past 2 years or so. My mom used to try forcing me to clean it, but she gave up eventually. I'm a lazy ass.

I've hidden an ice cream dessert behind 3 Harry Potter books, been there for at least 6 months. Maybe more.

Dunno if my mum knows.

But what's worse, I've got an empty candy plastic storage device, filled with cum, under my bed. ph34r.gif

How did that ice cream not melt? And you stuffed a candy storing device with cum? I hope your small brother doesn't get his hands on it thinking it to be candy!

I finished it, it's leftovers. A little chocolate and some ice left at the bottom. I can lift it with the spoon in there.

The spoon got stuck the second day it was in my room, partly reason why I didn't bother taking it downstairs, I knew it would take some tipe getting the spoon out of the cup.

And the candy storing device is empty of candy, there used to be candy in it, now there's cum.

And I don't have a little bro. Only a bitchy narcissistic sister.

Edit: Sorry about the mind Vanilla S.

I tend to do that to people's minds.

I don't normally clean every day. But if I see something really dirty, I'll deal with it. Such as my PS3 and TV.

Everyone must do there'll part in the house chores. It's so bad even the cat has to clean his own hairballs lol.gif

I clean very rarely. Usually only when I'm expecting visitors. Even then though I don't bother much, they shouldn't be in my bloody house anyway.

I can never ever be bothered to clean. My room is full of apple cores and empty glasses. It doesn't get to me but my parents hate it. I don't get why. It's my room confused.gif

My house doesn't really bother me, but my room is USUALLY spotless. tounge.gif

I rarely dust it, seeing as I have a fan going and my windows usually open, I don't see much dust collecting on surface, though yesterday I wiped down my TV.

My room's never been vacuumed seeing as I make sure no one eats in there but me, so nothing really gets on the floor. smile.gif

I'm probably a very lazy-ass member here. But I still do this sh*t every single day. It pisses me off, having to dust off things every second, vacuum my rug because my friends come over and make a mess of my carpet. It truly is a burden, but someone's gotta do it, and it seems I'm the one who has to do it.

I don't clean, I basically live in my bedroom and It's clean. Last time I cleaned it was a few weeks ago.. Still clean! Actually, A friend cleaned it because she's a clean freak and had to clean it from ceiling to floor; Wall to wall. Does that count as me cleaning ? notify.gif

There is never a day where something doesn't need cleaning. Be it the dishes, or my dog's sh*t in the backyard.

Daily. Either at work or at home.

More often than not at work, as I don't give a sh*t about a bit of dust. Rest of the family have allergies to it all, so generally I let them do it all as it's them that'll suffer if not.

I keep my bedroom tidy. Nobody eats or drinks in here, so thinks only get dusty. Sometimes I polish if theres a lot of dust, and my Mother has the honourable job of hoovering.

I generally keep my room tidy by just keeping stuff in draws and stuff and hoovering it about once a week. Anywhere outside of my room isn't my problem so I don't do anything outside my room cleaning-wise unless I have guests coming over, and it's best to just, tidy the place up a bit so it doesn't look as sh*t.
