dinamodanci1986
I completed the 3rd level in the British campaign but when the 4th level loads it reaches full and the comp simply restarts. Any help would be appreciated.

lloydo
I don't know how old Cod2 is, but maybe you will have to lower your own system specs to play the game.

Cod2 is from 2005 and i used optimal system settings and the game works like a breeze.

Vince_ThePhoenix
Is CoD 2 the only game it happens with?
Fnorg
Is it by any chance an un-bought copy of the game?
dinamodanci1986
I just found the CD in the mess in my brothers room. And yeah, it also happens on Cod4 and flight simulator 2004 but that may be cause i torrented fs2004. on cod4 i click new game, the loading bar shows up, reaches about 1cm and then the comp restarts. but i think thats because of too small ram, im going to buy 1 gb of ram then ill have 1.5 gb so it should probably work. if i install cod 4 on my sisters comp it works fine. lloydo
Maybe you need some free swap space.
dinamodanci1986
Heres what fixed the problem: My dad uninstalled all the display drivers and then installed only the latest version. Now I can run both CoD2 and 4 without restarting.
