2pacproducer2
Hey, I was wondering, how to make an interactive benches like this: So the peapole from street can sit on him, and when you wreck it , it will appear again in a few seconds. I tried make it myself with this opcodes: [email protected] = Object.Init(1280, 2478.452, -1687.841, 13.00776)Object.Angle([email protected]) = 264.0 But no people stoped there to sit in my bench. Here's the poic of that bench: Any help and suggestions ?

Anyone else willing to share how to do it? Yeah Any help @!?! It makes more sense to add such benches by ipl just one line and ready and the exe makes the rest look in object.dat to see different settings for objects like autom. doors, breakable objects, collisions detection, ect. dont know if the benches have a flag in object.dat for the sitting peds its a nice feature which works with more seat objects but it must be spawned by ipl same with the interactiv objects to start extern scripts like billard table It is possible to use ipl objects which are available in object.dat like MTraffic1 to initialize an extern script with 0929 Dont know if its possible too with Cleo, didnt tested yet P.S. the forum Post Preview wont work correct since today morning have somebody the same failure ? I use firefox CLEO MODS CLEO Script Tutorial

DeeZire
There are a number of objects in the game that work like that bench - parkbench1.dff IIRC. You just have to place them in an IPL file to get them to work properly. This property is known as a 2dfx. In VC, the 2dfx was added in the IDE files, but in SA its built-in to the dff model itself. Theres a section that defines the 2dfx type (in this case PED), offset where they are placed, their rotation, their behaviour (in this case 'sit') and finally the probability (default 50%) of the ped(s) appearing. So in answer to the question, to get a ped to sit on the bench just place it in an IPL. Theres a 50% chance that a ped will appear on it, BUT if you have edited popcycle.dat to increase the number of peds then the probability will be much lower - peds appearing on objects are taken from the total number of peds that can be present on the streets so as not to cause memory problems. If you dont see peds on the bench, leave the area and come back they will appear eventually. Having found this out, I edited the bus stop so that peds can sit on them too. SLRrazor
you could just make a custom .ipl using map editor then include it in your custom mod, its not that hard to do...
