I have left and rejoined Freemode at least 10 times, only to re-enter the SAME session each time, which was a basically a deathmatch i didn't want to be part of. Create your own, it takes about 10 - 30 minutes for people to join and for it to get good, during the wait just screw about with glitches or driving or owning peds. Usually I get thrown in a game with 1 other person, and obviously he is away from the controller and I keep getting thrown back into his game because he won't leave. I had the same problem in deathmatch and team deathmatch when I was playing my friend's 360 over the summer. In both ranked and player match there would be only a single game currently set in the lobby. I think because ranked and unranked are divided (as opposed to that in the PS3 version) the total amount of gamers (already less because of the 360's many other good games) is split in half, and since you can't always join a game that's already up, you just get plunged into the lobby of the single game waiting to start. Leave for a new game and you'll end up in the same one. If it was PS3, can't help you. I've never seen the same thing there. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mookistar Posted August 17, 2008 Author Share Posted August 17, 2008 thanks for the input guys. its a suprisingly restrictive system. managed to get into a session this afternoon with 75% of the people larking about, with the odd idiot. I hope Rockstar do something about it. i'm not into online gaming, have little or no interest in the other modes, just like to muck about. seems crazy to have a "free mode" that you are not "free" to choose. mook Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
