Got himself stuck in something that he could see and snipe at pretty much the whole area we were fighting in, and we couldn't get to him. He wasn't under the ground, just in a box somewhere. Nothing ruins a game like knowing the best you get is one kill at a time since you'll either double kill or get killed by their team before you can even swing your reticule around. If I have a cool teammate with a headset, I'll stick with it, if not I'll most likely quit out. No use getting 40-22 because of lag, just a frustrating way to play. Dazzellerr Posted August 18, 2008 Share Posted August 18, 2008 i agree with the race games and finishing 1st, only to have the toehr 7 players just screwing around for 30 minutes. i think my most pissed off moment is just messing around in FM, deciding to go play with the swing and getting some maniac that just does nothing but kill whoever is at the swing, turning the FM into an all out deathfest because everyone gets pissed at him. I always get a great start with a huge lead then a random pedestrian drives on the wrong side of the road and there a f*cking soccer mom in here mini van in the other lane so I go to last place. 3.RACES AGAIN!! Stuck on a screen, be it at the end of a game, "loading" or "starting game" and your only option is to restart the whole game. This has happened to everyone I know on PSN several times during a session, and as a matter of fact I'm between games while posting this and it JUST now got stuck on "loading" and I have to restart the F-ing game. Rockstar had all kinds of patches a couple months ago I think it's LONG overdue to fix this stupid crap. Hosts that don't start a game after everyone is ready, but barely anyone understands the concept of a kick vote. Lag, it can make a game unbearable. Mics that work for about 3 or 4 minutes then magically stop working when you go from a lobby to a game, or lobby to lobby, or whatever....and the only way I've been able to get them to work again is by restarting the game. I kind of solved that problem by downloading Ventrilo, but I don't think everyone has or going to use vent while playing. There's no point to enabling usage of mics if they're barely going to work. Parked close to my team for the host to stand infront of the car and shoot me then steal the car is was gonna take them all about it Luckily every1 left bar me and the host so game ended and he choose DM and ticked his box. Why would you ever do that when you could either unplug your Ethernet cable or reset your router, it would take you back to single player emediatly after you press (A). Well, I never tried that but it seems to me that after 10 seconds that it's stuck. I just restart since it's just as broad as it is long to quit the game and restart it. It's common this happens two sometimes three times in a row. Stuck, reload, stuck, reload, stuck, reload finally playing!! zinklesmesh Posted August 19, 2008 Share Posted August 19, 2008 too many to count... in fact, at least half of every single time I've ever lost a match has been from a glitch... the latest one was when I was in the passenger seat of a truck, trying to shoot someone, and it wouldn't let me shoot because there was a 1.5 foot tall planter box that the truck was rubbing against, even though it didn't even remotely obstruct my aim, so I died and lost the Cops n Crooks match. Sometimes when you get disconnected you cannot get back in the room due to it saying you were kicked, but the other players didn;t vote to kick you, just something wrong with the R* servers I'm guessing. As for the freezing issue, don't use the ingame XMB whilst GTA is on the loading screen. It's more likely to freeze during this. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
