How about a Western?

Please add a post and account deletion procedure!

http://www.accountkiller.com/removal-requested

You, as a webmaster or administrator, may have arrived here through an account information page on the site you're coming from. It seems the user tried to delete his/her account, however found this to be impossible. Therefore the user scrambled his/her personal data and referred to this page, requesting the site to create an account deletion option, preferably by completely deleting all personal data from the database.

More and more people are concerned about online privacy. Therefore we encourage online services to create an account deletion option, hopefully transparent and easily executed by the user. By anonimising personal data, retained data is rendered inadequate for (commercial) use. As more people use such measures, the urge for deletion options becomes stronger.

Besides, your site may be labelled white instead of black in the listings of AccountKiller. This provides more trust to users even considering the creation of an account at your site.

For further reference, also read the FAQ on AccountKiller.

Set in 1964, you escape from a bank robbery with your gang of outlaws and begin to cross over the Mexico desert, buy a ranch or two and defend it from the other bandits who try to steal your cattle.

Or something similar to that storyline, what do you think?

How about a Welsh farmer, who defends his sheep from wild cats and chavs by beating them up??? I bet the sales will break the records in the UK even if the cats and farmer bits will be taken out.

Damo.

Don't Rockstar have a sandbox western game (supposedly Red Dead Revolver 2) in the making right now?

A sandbox western game would be fun, buts its certainly not good gta material. And besides, you would have to change the name to Grand Theft Horse.

Place it in late 1890ies and the protagonist can have Ford-T and an antient Merc!

Oh, and a steam engines. Fun-fun.

wasn't there a sandbox style western game already? I can't remeber much about it, but i rented it a few years back. You could steal horses and the towns people would go crazy and shoot at you if you shot at someone else. It seemed lonely compared to the city setting games.

edit: Someone else said it, it was GUN

It's not GTA without modern pop-culture parody. The setting can't go back earlier than the 1980s or not enough gamers get the jokes. Well it could go earlier but it would be like Austin Powers, parodying movies from the 1960s not the actual 1960s.

London '69 & '61 both faired well, and they were both set before the 1980's (obviously). The only people who will not get the pop-culture references from the 1980's-backwards are those who are too young to actually be playing GTA.
