Machida
I’ve just sat down to watch someone else play the game. I’ll get a play of it a little bit later but at the mo I can’t really say anything better than, not so good. The animations and car handling bring a chill to your spine. It’s the same as the first one. The missions will be it’s saving grace, It’s going to depend on how fun they are so I’ll add more later when I’ve got the chance to play it. It sure as buggery aint a buy though. Edited October 16, 2008 by Machida

RockstarFan
Got the game earlier today and I am loving it! I've not done a lot of story missions, the diversions have kept me busy. The crowd control activity is my favourite so far.
RATEDR307
Is this game worth my 60 bucks or should I save it for World at War?
xNamexTakenx
So, guys, is this a rent or a buy? For me, its a buy, which I have already done lol. My thing is crime-centered open-world games. I don't know about you, though. Everybody likes different things.

AbSoLuTiOn
I have a question: Is this game worth Buying? I would say rent, but i tend not to rent games, from what i've seen, this game could be a lot of fun, and possibly quite addictive.
cimt
I say buy it, it's a great game. Although the handling is like GTAs prior to 4, and The Godfather. Apart from that, it's great!
BioVirus
It's a buy. I just finished customizing my gang and which cars they drive
GTA3Freak-2001
Finally got a chance to play, you guys are right it looks quite ugh and worse then the first game which doesn't make sense at all. It just looks very bland and colourless like its always dusty or something. Still I forgot all that when I was spraying buildings, peds, and vehicles with sewage in the Septic Avenger diversion. Its just a really stupid and silly thing to do yet its just so fun! Fun is what saves the game in the end! Its simply a fun game and that's what makes it and GTA IV good shelf buddies, they offer two distinct gaming experiences.
BioVirus
Police abuse is hilarious! I just saw a cop pepper spray a rival gang member who was shooting at me. Then the cop beat him to death !

Algonquin Assassin
I have a question: Is this game worth Buying? I would say rent, but i tend not to rent games, from what i've seen, this game could be a lot of fun, and possibly quite addictive. It's a definite buy. There's no point in renting it, because the game is quite big. I have just over 8 hours or so playing it, and I love it. My two favourite activities are Fight club, and Crowd control. I also like how you get different hitman, and chop shop lists too. Only thing that I'm a bit disappointed in that there's not alot of main story missions. Only 42. I guess though that because there's alot of activities there's plenty to keep you going. Just a question how do you mug people, and hold up stores? Police abuse is hilarious! I just saw a cop pepper spray a rival gang member who was shooting at me. Then the cop beat him to death ! I've seen so many shootouts. One of the first ones I saw was between the red gang, and a bunch of pimps. lol Everytime I play it I get nostalgic flashbacks to SA. I guess I underestimated this game. Oh btw has anyone else noticed that you can buy a gladiator helmet similar to the Spartans in 300? I'm going to buy it, and pretend my dude is King Leonidas. "THIS IS SAINTS ROWWWWWWWWW!!!!!" cimt
Just a question how do you mug people, and hold up stores? You just point your gun at the cashier to hold up stores. Has anyone got the traffic cone for a hat? You get it when you get 3 gold stars car surfing,
MC.
lol I rented this game in the afternoon and it's very fun. I like that crowd control activity and it was fun throwing people lol. I just want to know where can you access that Zombie game? Is it in the first safehouse? I've looked everywhere inside. Can someone help? I tried to go on multiplayer but for some reason the game wasn't starting. I'll have to check that tutorial.

cimt
One thing I don't like about this game also, is the fact that The Mix (plays 80s music) only has like 10 songs or something.

GTA3Freak-2001
Crowd Control is awesome, throwing crazy fans into a jet engine or onto a trampoline where they go flying off into the distance! I agree with the Mix station, very small list of songs and is it just me or does Men At Work's "Land Down Under" just not fit well at all?

//JohnnyGat\\
Im On The Last 3 Missions Technically. there is an Ultor epilogue after u beat the last mission of each gang. the only thing i hate about the saints row games is that you have to beat every stronghold in order to get to the last 3 gang missions. oh well! i did it and then i went to bed after i did. when i get home from school today i will beat Saints Row 2 : ) .. Im Only On 8 Hours And 20 Mins BTW

BloodOcean
I found a mission called "ho-ing." It's at the end of a long dock (that ends as a circle), just south of the place where you buy boats, in the northeastern part of the map, but there's no icon on the map for it, It's just a beacon in front of a restroom. This is the fated "granny mission", though none of the voices were old ladies. It brings up a mini game were you have to "pleasure" the woman by moving the analog sticks in certain ways. I got 9 levels into it, but wasn't able to beat the tenth, even though I beat every other level on my first try.
