ModelingMan
SA Window Release SA Window is a tool which allows you to play SA in a window. Indeed it already exists but this time you don't have to use a D3D9 hook/proxy DLL (the existing ones don't work for me). Instead this tool modifies how the game checks for supported resolutions; by default the game skips any windowed resolutions, this tool changes that. The windowed resolution is available in both the startup dialog and Advanced Display menu ingame. If you want a specific window resolution then first pick the fullscreen resolution and then select windowed; do this in the Advanced Display menu. Preview Download GTAGarage link below. Mirror Installation 1. Download and install Delfi's ASI Loader from http://www.gtatools.com/filedb/action.php?action=file&id=19 (gtatools site is down) http://alexander.sannybuilder.com/Files/ASILoader.rar 2. Put SAWindow.asi in SA root folder. e.g. C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\ 3. Enjoy. Threepwood
Well done. I really missed that! I have this option if TV is enabled at default, but sometimes I shut off that TV function, and SA does not provide that little window. Now it does

Spider-Vice
That feature was actually incorporated into San Andreas on the start. If I open gta_sa.exe with a resource editor, that device dialog is there Nice work btw. let your hopes and dreams turn into burning fire! I put it in /SteamApps/Common/Grand Theft Auto San-Andreas "root file". You've bought GTA SA on steam, so you must use the gta_sa.exe from steam right ? SireElite
Do you mean I go to the file's of the game and launch "gta_sa.exe" Instead? I don't do that, I just go to my game library on Steam and click Play.

Use google for download it or use the Steam Downgrader. Also I don't know if launching the game from Steam library the mod will work. Silent
If it's not launching after reinstalling, that's clearly not mod's/downgrader's fault.

It's not our fault if R* made such crappy ports. And even crappier patches. Masterflash
It's working fine but is there a way to make GTA SA remember the setting you put it in ? Every time is start it it starts off at full screen with very low resolution and I have to change it to windowed in the settings. mirh
