amg1234
I decided to play some TDM and DM today which i never usualy do. But when i got in their i got completly owned. I mean, i was in an Assault rifle only match and people were 1-2 hiting me from long range with an assault rifle. And whenever i seemed to get the jump they turned around and headshoted me. What am i doing wrong? Is it something to do with AA? I turned it on and off and i noticed no different. Can someone give me some tips?
hsacic
On long ranges, the Automatic Rifles are best when fired in bursts or even better, like a pistol. Boom(pause) Boom(pause) Boom! If you just hold the trigger it´ll spray all over the place without accuracy. Also crouching increases the accuracy!
Dazzellerr
send a add request to me, dazzeller. i will do some free raom with you and you can practice on me. dont expect me to go easy on you though.
The Elite Sniper
Crouch when firing but don't stay static too long if you give the opponent time they will catch you out. Shoot automatic weapons in short bursts otherwise it will go crazy and spray everywhere BUT the opponent. Take cover whenever possible and sometimes when you want to crouch try and do it with a lampost or something between you and your opponent to make it more difficult for them to get a headshot. When using pistol ALWAYS go for the headshot, every opponent I play against try to headshot me and when I go for the torso I tend to die first. When using RPG try and aim at the opponents feet or a solid object that they are quite close to. When using a sniper rifle make sure you have the combat one because the standard one is sh*t and cant fire in quick bursts. Make sure you are well out of the opponents range and fire a few quick bursts at them, a headshot should kill them instantly. Any other questions feel free to ask. amg1234
Ok thanks for replies. Should i use auto aim or not? I heard somewhere it effects the range of it, probably bs though
TheSpankerDom
If auto aim is on and ur close then use it, if you are out of range then try without AA because you can hit them before you lock on
The Elite Sniper
When not in auto-aim you can still aim that little bit further without it. But auto-aim is noob. Try playing TDM's and DM's with auto-aim not allowed.

cr416
Sixmore things: 1. Auto aim doesnt guarentee easy kills you still have to do aiming especially if players are on the move Ive seen too many players lock on and just hold the fire button down and then complain on this forum that they arent getting kills. 2. If you want lots of kills be prepared to die. That means you have to get into the action, not hide for half the game waiting for someone to run by. 3. Learn how to use a pistol effectively, you don't want to spend lots of time stocking up on powerful weapons only to be killed. 4. If someone spawns next to you run like hell, there is an invincibility delay of a couple of seconds 5. Practice, practice and practice, we all got owned in the beginning 6. Headshots!! PS: i never pick up armour unless its on my path. Its useless against headshots, or if you are playing with rpg's its usefull too Edited August 13, 2008 by cr416

Can someone give me some tips? 1, crouch when firing for it improves your accuracy 2, take cover against hard objects because hollow walls i find in the city are not bullet proof 3, always aim at the head, requires 2 bullets for the kill if at full health 4, start a team deathmatch, first grab a car and collect armor and 3 weapons preferibly smg, assult, pistol and that way you'll last a little longer in the battle feild 5, never try 1 on 3 or more because i and others hav done it and are lucky when we win aginst 2 of em just by running them both over....speccially don't without a gun though 6, never run over ur teammates cos they'll just piss and hunt u down 7, never kill teammates 8, aim with left trigger and then while having it pushed move left thumbstick left or right then push "X" all at same time to role sideways and dodge some attacks 9, instead of holding the fire button with smg or assult rifle just tap rt about 4 times so the bullets go streight not a whole round in the air and only 4 bullets actually hitting the target 10, never blow urself up to stop enemy gathering u as a kill cos it eans less money for u thats all my time for now....if u look at th multiplayer section i posted a tips guide for people and its big and old
Cyrius
-Dont kneel down in close combat, you get better acuracy, but you are a sitting duck. -If your opponet is firing at you while your in cover, wait for him to reload if possible and hit him while he is defencless. alx-ndr
don't crouch at all... run sideways... always have armor... shoot their head... use shotguns for close range and knifes if they have an rpg...
SuperJude™
I never grab on any corner. The only time I use the cover system is behind a wall where you can stay crouched, then pop up and hit some headshots. You're much better off standing on the corner, just out of view and using your analogue stick to pan around and see where the enemy is, then as alx-ndr said, instead of crouching stay standing and just pop in and out sideways to nail the headshot. When you corner, you leave part of yourself exposed. I've been getting more and more kills lately off of people who grab the corner and fail to realize when they peek, their head is exposed and when they don't, their hand is still exposed, leading to many WTF moments. xxxSIDESH0Wxxx
if the blips are off, just hide near the AK spawn... but the blips are usually on, so try and lure your enemies to some terrain you are very familiar with. don't just camp somewhere, cuz you're losing time and money while you wait, but if you know a few good ambush spots close by that some dummy will chase you to, you will have an advantage. sometimes i like being in bizarre places that no one would ever expect you to be like, um..nevermind, i'll keep those places to myself... I love the people who hide at the spawn points, I usually get a team mate and both run towards him/her, zig zagging til we're in auto aim range. Then one of us takes him/her out. The hiding at the spawn point only really works in DM's. I'm the type of person who'll go out my way to attempt to kill the campers. I hate the type of people who run in buildings and hide in a TDM, fair enough if everyone from your team leaves and you're left alone against 5 etc.
xxxSIDESH0Wxxx
i only meant hide near the spawn points if the blips are off and you're having trouble finding people, as a way of locating people. i'm not big into camping myself. gets boring staring at the same empty stretch of road, waiting...and waiting. i try to limit it to a block or two away, camping out for a minute or so while looking for the next good spot a little closer. Foppezão
get the fire truck splash 'em and trash 'em [when they're splashing on the ground] always anticipate on hiding spots, higher ground(like houses in bohan), only come out of cover for a short time for short bursts Edited September 1, 2008 by Foppezão

Every DM or TDM i'm in, i run towards the action (so many people i see goin the other way ) I tend to finsh with like 40+ kills and like 20+ deaths. Just keep goin to the action. As long as your takin down a couple b4 u die, it all adds up But yeah exactly what every1 has bn sayin. AA off is so much better but if u want to just rack in they kills have it on. I tend to jump about games to try and get a game that has it off (very rarely find any) so i tend to jump in a match and maul the crap outta the nubs p.s. Don't go out u'r way for weapons unless u know u'r gonna go up against some1 with an AK. While u'r away gettin a car, armour etc they'll still be rackin in the kills. Take him out (same with all campers, either take them out or take the action away from them.)
