Crosby
I don't know how you couldn't like the game at first. (Because I only know how I was when it came out - ) The biggest reason not to sell GTA IV is dlc. You don't want to be on the outside looking in when that baby hits. Crosby
yh but for all we know the DLC could be nothing, like 2 missions You're absolutely right. But that's not a chance I would be willing to take, even if I didn't like the game. My gut tells me it wouldn't be taking this long if it wasn't ample content. Jimbo85
I reckon it is going to be something no one is expecting. I mean yeah it probably will have new cars and weapons etc.. But i reckon R* are f*ckin smart guys and i reckon they have something planned that will blow our f*ckin minds.

I played San Andreas at a mates place the other day and it is just so clunky. The sound of the cars engine is just to tones, one for accelerating and one for slowing down. I reckon everyone just expected another ground-breaking game - which GTAIV is in many ways - but not to the extent that GTAIII: SA was when it first came out. Multiplayer GTAIV is probably the best online game i have ever played - COD4 is up there too, have you got MP? If you don't, you are missing out. Slamman
I've played it since release Night (Midnight, Gamestop) and I only swapped it out for one play of my other title, Uncharted. I am still unable to stop my GTA4 game. I went back to the earlier saves now and am re-doing the missions!

Algonquin Assassin
Like any game GTA IV does get boring sometimes, but I also get the urge to play, and can't put the controller down. I average about 2 hours everyday playing it. I think in years to come alot of people are going to take it for granted, and wish they never sold it. Excatly, since GTA IV has come out, people have moved back to San Andreas. I think the same will go to IV when the next GTA comes out.

I think the same will go to IV when the next GTA comes out. I think it's a common thing in the gaming community. Usually the fans of a previous GTA (In this case SA. Although technically VCS is the real previous GTA, but we wont get into that) rebel against the latest one. I wasn't here back for other releases, but from what I've heard VC fans done the same thing when SA came out, and GTA III fans when VC came out. Maybe not to the extent of GTA IV, but still it happened. It's inevitable it'll happen, with the next GTA.
Darrel
I didnt play it for a week, well not even the PS3. But when i went back on it it felt very fresh. Not that it didnt before tho. I really do loving playing it (single player) I think people overlook how good its done the basics. One example being the way the cars handle. Its f*cking proper amazing in my opinion. They look fantastic too. Edited August 13, 2008 by Darrel

But I have been playing my Wii and Super Smash Bros Brawl a lot as of late. That game never gets boring.
jonstunt
A lot of people "burnout" on the game when they first get it, and inevitably it leaves them wanting to go and do something else instead. I bought a PLaystation packed with Gran Turismo 5 and GTA4 at the same time, the Gran Turismo game is still in it's foil wrapper My relationship with GTA4 has gone as follows: Excitement -to- disappointment -to- Anger -to- respect. The turning point for me was when I restarted the game and just savoured it like a good wine instead of gulping it down.
t3flonDon45
OMG STUPER GTA FOR HATTERZZ!!11!!!1. For real tho I dont see why people bash this game so much, theres alot to do in this game you just have to figure it out for yourself. Walk around the city, Grab a bite at burgershot, Get drunk with Dewayne and listen to his bullsh*t stories, find different places to do shootouts, get a hooker, bike stunts, kill yourself, I could keep going. Most these people hate on the game for attention or they're just jealous because they dont have the game. OH GTA3 IS SO MUCH BETTER! ....No it's not gta 4 is one of the greatest games I've played. I can have fun on gta 4 just taking time to look at the details. When can you do that in the past gta's? I'd rather look at shiny rims than some grey-same-looking rims. Werven
GTAs that kind of game you get bored of, sell all your copies, then 5 months later, you want them back.
