John-
Please add a post and account deletion procedure! http://www.accountkiller.com/removal-requested You, as a webmaster or administrator, may have arrived here through an account information page on the site you're coming from. It seems the user tried to delete his/her account, however found this to be impossible. Therefore the user scrambled his/her personal data and referred to this page, requesting the site to create an account deletion option, preferably by completely deleting all personal data from the database. More and more people are concerned about online privacy. Therefore we encourage online services to create an account deletion option, hopefully transparent and easily executed by the user. By anonimising personal data, retained data is rendered inadequate for (commercial) use. As more people use such measures, the urge for deletion options becomes stronger. Besides, your site may be labelled white instead of black in the listings of AccountKiller. This provides more trust to users even considering the creation of an account at your site. Two Words: Moving Boobs. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Sincerely, Emotion98.

KGBeast
What in the world is this? where are you getting 1992 from? GTA III took place in 2001, they did not totally rebuild the city and destroy mountains/ landmass, or add any in 6 or 7 years. it isn't the same universe. thinking it is is pretty delusional. StallionBurnout
I believe all GTAs are canon. The differences in the cities are simply inconsistencies to appeal to fans who demand a different looking city every time. The only thing you need to know is that the stories of GTA III and GTA IV both take place in liberty city....when it comes down to individual locations inside the city, that's unimportant in the long run. king surfer
Isn't that boat you sink in GTA III in this one? Where did you see that? Just off the coast of the industrial area of the third island. There's the wreckage of a boat thats sunk and on its side and I just assumed it was the same one. Perhaps its not. I dont really care.
StallionBurnout
whats a canon? It's a noun, derived from the Greek kann, meaning a fundamental set of rules applying to a group of artistic works. If two stories are considered canon, it simply means that they take place in the same universe. Stories that are non-canon don't take place in the same universe. The word was originally used to apply to fundamental sets of rules in the Roman Catholic Church. In short, it's the GOSPEL of whatever artistic work is referenced. The adjective form is canonical, however simply canon is sometimes used as an adjective in shorthand.
.Up&Coming.
Yeah, it was confirmed. I was in a weird GTA IV phase long before the game came out...In an article somewhere, R* said it's in a whole new canon and a different world than the last games. That's why you don't see any characters or anything from the past games in this game (except little funny hints like the Claude clothing). I'm pretty sure I'm right. It was a long time ago, though. Ash_735
Every seperate numbered GTA game is a new canon. So yes there are 4 Canons in the GTA Universe. GTA1 Storyline (3 games), GTA2 Storyline (1 game), GTA3 Storyline (6 games) and now the newest, the GTA4 Storyline (1 game so far). It's pretty easy to remember really. The stuff you see on tv has already been brought up, they're called Easter Eggs for gamers to remember because it wouldn't be practical to re-create every city from the GTA3 Canon to use as mere TV Footage in the GTA4 Canon.
