You choose how you want to play. You can follow the rules and make friends with everyone you play with, or you can grief and piss people off to your heart's content. I prefer a healthy balance between the two. Why are you worried about pissing people off? It's the 'net, you shouldn't care about what people think of you here, and if you're playing GTA trying not to make any enemies, it's the wrong game to play. Jeeze you should hear some of the guys on the headset when you total their car on car jack city.
