Sergi Posted August 12, 2008 Share Posted August 12, 2008 (edited) Well since info is very bleak and I don't own GI all we know right now is it's based on the Arkam Asylum: A Serious Place on Serious Earth grpahic novel released years ago. I'm hoping this also includes open world GTA factor outside of the prison ao we can runaround in Gotham beating criminal orginizations. Then you should read Arkham Asylum because that's easily the most disturbing and violent Batman story yet. If any Batman game had the chance to be M it would be this game. Sergi Posted August 13, 2008 Author Share Posted August 13, 2008 On a side note this game will be strictly set in Arkam and will be a direct adpatation of Arkam Asylum but that isn't a bad thing. They say it'll be similar to Bio Shock. Also this is being published by Eidos because Edios has the rights for Batman games based off the comics and can create Batman games as new IPs similar to how the Ubisoft Batman games were( Rise of Zin Tsu etc..) I seem to recall Batman being forced to do so to rescue hostages or something in the comic. And a Batman game will never be rated M, or 18, as a large section of their audience are children, even now that the character is presented in a darker, more adult way. The traditional Joker is back. How are they too good to be gameplay? There are dozens of games that look way better then this game with game play so why would these be cutscne or pre rendered shots? Anyways this games looks too good to be true. It's like rplace the Chronicles of Riddick and put Batman in the title, repalce Vin Disel and use Batman, replace Butchers Bay and use Arkham Asylum and replace all the inmates of Butchers Bay with easily some of the most popular comic book villains of all time Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
