Posted August 12, 2008 Share Posted August 12, 2008 I only really got into them when Með suð í eyrum við spilum end came out, I'd hear Hoppipolla like every other person on the planet and loved it so I brought the album hoping it would be as good, I still listen to it nearly every day and will probably continue to do so until their next album is out. Sæglópur is probably my favourite track of the lot. @Trows- Yeah I've got tickets to go and see them at Alexandra Palace in December. Are they really that awesome? Svefn-g-englar is such an amazing song, I don't think they'll better it. They are 100 times better live its insane. The atmosphere of the music mixed in with the awesome light show and visuals on the screen they have make for a fantastic experience. I love their more recent stuff, but that record defines them, for me. You can hear 'Staralfur' in that wicked good Life Aquatic film with Bill Murray. Beautiful song.
