Crokey
Hi folks Has anyone here done this before or something similar. I've got a Virgin+ box which has got a shed load of cartoons for the kids on it, but they're taking up so much space I've got nothing left for decent stuff... f*cking Scooby Doo. Now there is a function on the Virgin+ Box for backing up to CD/DVD (hence it being legal otherwise they wouldn't put the feature in there), now this is done traditionally via a Scart socket off the back of the box into a scart socket in the back of a DVD Recorder (TV style not Computer style, which I don't have and don't really want as it would only gather dust and be used for this one off purpose), now there is a USB and Sata port on the back of the box, but apparently they're disabled so that's no good. So my question is this is there anyway to connect a Scart socket to either USB, VGA or any other popular input device on a PC/Laptop and if so what cable would be needed and also what software would be needed as well. Quality doesn't matter that much as it's only Cartoons for the kids so it doesn't need to be spectacular all singing all dancing quality.
Star-Lord
Gareth Croke: Adaptors I searched everywhere but could only find these adapters. From schematics that I also found it's quite impossible to convert to USB so the only option would be composite.
