There was never any mention or rumor that said they were going to. Why do people assume they're gonna release extra content for the PC. Is everyone really that stupid?? The extra content will come from the modding community, not Rockstar. We're gonna get the same game the console version has. I agree. Same as with III, VC, and SA. Have there been any signs from R* that they are going to make nice with PC gamers? No. The PC version is about one thing and one thing only...COLD HARD CASH. The money has been spent to develop it ($100 Million +) and it they are going to squeeze every last penny out of it. Piles of cash are stacked on their tables waiting to be deposited. Remember, only R* knows the true PC sales figures. They also know how exponentially larger the PC gaming base is. Unlike dopey consoles, PCs have to start from scratch every 4-6 years. It's like striking oil. They just have to put a tap there and 'EUREKA!'. Always a top seller on the PC. GTA IV: Chinatown Wars for the DS? Need I say more? Now, I would love to think R* was in it for the PC gamers or they at least dropped not so subtle hints about how much they care. LOL, I know. If they really do care about PC gamers or bringing the highest quality GTA out they do a great job of hiding it. I'm sure it has a lot to do with MS/Sony and the consoles, but that's a lame excuse. Since GTA3 the games have been getting better and better and more PC friendly with wach game. I expect modding to be at least as easyish as SA and slick MP. as for the "much more" part.. my best guess is more or longer misisons, more vehicle or ped models, maybe more or different mini-games.. angryjessman Posted August 14, 2008 Author Share Posted August 14, 2008 YES my post was supposed to be more of a wishlist, i def ain't holding my breath to see any of em, but some of em coud be simple retexture mod ideas or sum sh*t, i give cred where it's due, R* is the best seller of games with the least number of games produced, they nailed "the Warriors" game, Midnight Club (but not fixed long loading sccreens on the series), and whichever PART of R* (R* north etc) that is responsible for the GTA series obciously aren't as good developers or simply missed the "fun" of the game I've seen the BETA photos of the gta games, and under the surface of that they haven't really put there ALL into it, for the whole series, yeh there would of been alot of work been done, but no integrity, if they had someone like bethesda or sum sh*t do it (GTA series) i bet it would be alot more worth it all im saying is that R* ARE ripping us off, the game never FEELs as complete as other games like Hitman or sumthing (which i repeat missions whenver i get bored, cos it's addictive) Gta is not addictive, i can't even remember much of SA cos with newer games like mass effect and assassins creed, GTA quickly gets OLD (once you finally beat the game lol, whicch wasn't THAT hard) like the other person posted, they probably aren't gonna do any better, cos since it's R* and they at the top (or near) the sh*t will sell, i think that is pathetic and Low for a game producing company to do that all im saying is when it goes to pc, if R* really thinks I'll buy it RETAIL, lol fuk no! ....
