Ondori412
In every GTA game starting from 3 to san andreas and even in the "Stories" psp games, you have been able to store your own custom soundtrack, where is that option in GTA IV? i know it's been asked a million times, but frankly I'm too lazy to use a search function. First off let me start by saying GTA IV is on both next-gen consoles, both of which are capable of storing, you guessed it, MP3 files, so where is the option for a custom soundtrack? I understand that the ps3 version is "trying" to get the kinks worked out with the in game XMB, trophies and in-game music, but even still it's up to the game developers to patch the game to support it, all i want is to ride around liberty listening to the tracks on my HDD. is it too much to ask? it honeslty can't be all that hard to access mp3 files stored on the same HDD. CharmingCharlie
My own personal view is Rockstar didn't include a custom radio station option because they hoped to make a bit of money selling you music via that ZIT system. Now they can't very well sell you music if you are not "forced" to listen to the radio stations. I obviously cannot prove this is the reason why there is no custom radio station option. I certainly can see no technical or gameplay reason why there couldn't be one. There is a fallback option the 360 supports playing music whilst you play games unfortunately the music will play over everything so it is less than ideal. I hear the PS3 will do something similar but the game needs to be patched to allow it (don't ask me why). Who knows maybe with the release of the PC version Rockstar may work the custom radio station back in, but somehow I doubt it. It is just another example of Rockstar thinking about money instead of delivering a top class product. Tony Mozzarelli 80
When you play music on your 360 it doesn not just play over everything. You still get all the in game sound effects.

It's much better than using the in game radio

Twistie
Yer, I really enjoy that about the 360. I suspect it may also be the reason why Rockstar didn't add it although I feel sorry for the PS3 player who miss out on this. I mean i could never get custom tracks on my console for 3 through San Andreas as the feature was only available on PC, which I ended up eventually buying for modding anyway, but for 360 players to get it and PS3 to not get it is sorta a disappointment. macorules94
it will be on the PC version
skyline93
it will be on the PC version Yeah I think so too. The PS2 version of SA didn't have a custom soundtrack but the PC version had, so I belive that the PC version of GTA IV will have a custom soundtrack.
