nutboy
ok ok - so what would you all suggest one do to become "black enough" to satisfy the critics? (besides selling crack) Thats a dumb question. What makes you think selling crack will darken your skin? This isnt funny. I'm the one asking the questions here ... to answer your question: I don't know. If you happen to know, please share. Off Topic: Nutboy - did you ever try the anti-persperant, how'd it work out for you? uh yeah i got some and im sweating alot less now thanks. Tony Mozzarelli 80
What i can tell you is that if MLK heard anyone saying, Obama is being to white, it would have made him sick to his f*cking stomach, because he would have been aware of the underlying racist assumption upon which such statements are based. Breaking Bohan
So which of these great ideas do you think would help Obama be "black enough" to all those insensitive critics? IMHO, if asked, I would recommend: 1. 1 giant clock 2. 5 feet of gold chains 3. 1 pack of Kools 4. 1 pair of dark sunglasses

Slamman
Here's a quasi-question totally unrelated, but steering the garbage to serious ground. As a kid, I rarely had an issue with sweat. Then at a certain point it really became apparent and heat with humidity seems like a personal hell because when I sweat it tends to actually cause a stinging sensation and I had to come up with something to aid me on the long, summer days. I also don't care for cold that drops below 40 degrees, but many people relate to that. I am also rather white skin, used to have easily seen Farmer's Tan. Black folk rarely burn from sun contact, but that doesn't rule out skin cancer, however! UV rays are still beating down on you.

And from what I've gathered in this topic, to be 'black enough' you must have two gold front teeth, you must enjoy gagging yourself with gold chains, you must wear Soulja Boy sunglasses, you must sell crack, you must sweat a lot you must still live in your home country, you must wank a lot and you also must be a f*cking badass. mod it with Nitrous Oxide and chassis dyno. No, Obama downgrades things to sexism. And don't give me that bullsh*t about him being above racism. His whole campaign during the primaries was about him being black and Clinton being white. Slamman
Obama doesn't strike me as a racist, only someone who represents his background. You did see the stories on his childhood, correct? leik oh em jeez!
I guess when someone says that someone isn't black enough; they are saying that the person is not racist and does not consider themselves to be better than everyone else because they are black, which is racism. If you think about it, people don't act "white" or "black" people act "normal" or "racist towards white people".

Slamman
I mentioned using the Absorber, a brand named chamois of sorts, that I keep in a cooler with ice water... I thought it might work good for headaches too, but not so much I am finding. One way to combat headaches is jacking off....but let's not go there. Just try it some time! haha

Lega_c
Coming from an African-American, I find this topic very racist. Alot of you may think it is funny to post images of black people at their worst, but at the same time it paints a severely stereotypical picture of the African-American race. Black people are not just the ghetto, gangsters you see in music videos, we as a people are strong. Anything, we want to achieve we persevere to meet our goals. So before you try to be funny and post something as ignorant, and insensitive as some of the things I have seen here, learn your history and don't follow the crowd. Don Garcia aka NjNakedSnake
SLAMMANS NOT SLAMBANNED™ ANY MORE! Yes! Slap the trademark on that, it's catching on. And being black is easy. Rap music, an enjoyment of fat booties, urban apparel, a "thug" accent, a willingness to fight, and a love for ridiculous jewelry and mouth bling. What am I missing? It is a stupid thing to even think about. One African-American is no more black than another. Black cannot be defined as a simple list of stereotypes, as there are many different forms of any person, black or any other race. My problem is the blatant racism gere being categorized as "poking fun". This is in no way, shape or form "fun". It just goes to show you how ignorant some people may be. You may not care how black Obama is, but there are plenty of people within the black community who are openly criticizing him for not being black enough. Now take a second to think about this. What do they mean? what characteristics are they claiming Obama possesses which make him stand out as not being black enough? have a serious think about the inherent racism here. And when i say they are 'poking fun' well yes they are stereotyping, just like the people saying Obama is too white are doing. But when all black people have come to terms with the fact that there is absolutely nothing inherently wrong with being black, then it will cease to matter to them what the white people say about them

No, Obama downgrades things to sexism. And don't give me that bullsh*t about him being above racism. His whole campaign during the primaries was about him being black and Clinton being white. Meanwhile he's not even "full" black. He is only half. Obama was born on August 4, 1961, at the Kapiolani Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Obama, Sr., a Black Kenyan of Nyang’oma Kogelo, Siaya District, Kenya, and Ann Dunham, a White American from Wichita, Kansas. I just think that the media and his campaign should acknowledge that and not simply say "his father was black, his mother was white...he's black" simply to get the minority vote. Just my opinion on that, however, that was off topic from the question in the op.

Obama is a politician. Remove all race cards and skin colors and you are left with a politician who is attempting to make this country a better place to live. Also, I know there is nothing wrong with being black, many of us still feel the pain our ancestors endured during slavery. Therefore, it is hard to completely trust a caucasian individual.
