Annoying Lag & Jagged Edges on PS3 version

Well i've been playing GTA IV now ,and i noticed the camera lags

and the game actually lags...

 

Its not smooth like it should be.

Is there a way to fix this?

 

BTW im running the game in 1080i

 

and i have PS upscaler on normal.

 

and when i first played GTA IV the quality and graphics.

Shading was amazing.. im not getting that effect anymore.

 

My TV settings are on default

 

and im using the HDMI cable for HD..

I am running on 1080i too, because my PS3 chose that for my model of television.

 

There's a lot of avalanching (where objects running on an angle look like beads running down a slope on the edges) especially during cut screens.

 

I thought GTA4 would look better on an HD television... but I saw it in action at a friend's house (who has standard def) and it looked better! WTF? Ya know?

Yeah for me it looks better.

 

prolly cuz i have the HDMI cable

 

but it just lags like hell..
