Smiler-Online Posted August 11, 2008 Share Posted August 11, 2008 Well it was only a short while ago that they stated that its soon due out for PC, and everyone said that they were crazy and just trying to make money, but then look now... the official announcement has been made. pimpinpenguin? Posted August 11, 2008 Share Posted August 11, 2008 Not sure, they only said they had something major to announce, this can either be Halo 3 PC or GTA 4 PC. I doubt it's Halo 3 as PC gamers couldn't give a sh*t about it. So that only leaves GTA 4 and i think they may have a preview on it, as it's the September issue so that's 2 months before release and that's when they start to give previews on the PC versions. Any of us on these here forums could be an 'editor' and write "GTA V Coming in 2010" only to click on the article and discover that I'm actually saying "is Rockstar working on GTA V already? There's always been a PC port, ever since R* took over the franchise, and it's always been around half a year delayed from the console port. Nothing groundbreaking. They had no info whatsoever, if all it takes to run a magazine is to write articles about somewhat certain speculation then I suspect we have a lot of members here who would make as good editors as those guys. We were just talking with the guys from Rockstar about GTA VI release date, but of course I can't say anything due to NDA, and I had to travel back to '08, but it's going to be great! When I get it i'll let everyone know. Also can someone explain to me why these "fingerless" gloves are such a big deal. I believe the thing in the US PC gamer mag is supposedly a big preview of Diablo 3, I could be wrong about that though. I secretly hope it might be the first preview of the PC version of GTA 4 As for the Malaysian PC gamer they shouldn't be credited with anything it was a cheap shot to sell magazines and that is all it was. bishman82 Posted August 11, 2008 Share Posted August 11, 2008 Same as the sites selling "pre-orders" of GTA 4 months ago, they were pretty certain it was going to come out near October-November time, the second someone sees they are offering pre-orders everyone posts the link up in every gaming forum possible = free advertising for game shop I bet some people even bookmarked it and went back each week to check the date hadn't changed.
