Furnace Posted August 11, 2008 Share Posted August 11, 2008 I noticed that some of the more kick ass cars aren't available during Free Modes and probably others as well (excluding race mode obviously) I've never seen a Comet, or a Sabre GT, or a Bobcat, or that cool old fashioned car online, and there's probably a ton more. I noticed when i couldn't connect to the game provider, so i went driving around in SP for a while and saw all these cars that I hadn't seen or driver since i started playing free modes. I don't think the car clone exploit has anything to do with it, those cars are just not in multiplayer, period. Not that I've found anyway. If I played single player a bit I bet I could list a ton of cars that are not in MP, it annoys me a bit because some of those cars are pretty awesome, and to have a limited selection of cars on the game modes people play most now after completing the SP, isn't cool. Apparently R* are gonna make them available for MP via downloadable content, but then thats just a rumour. I've seen the comet a few times in MP, so that's definately there. I didn't take any notice of the colours of the names etc. I'll have to rummage around Youtube again to see if I can find that particular clip. When ever I join a Free Mode game now, the first thing I do is drive to City Hall to get the Emperor that spawns outside it. For instance when you spawn in something like Mafiya work after being killed or dying, you're forever away from the blip and running on foot for endless amounts of time before a car finally pops up (traffic even on high but still nothing forever)....by then the task is completed by opposing players.
