Algonquin Assassin
Something I think is long over due in the GTA series, is the ability to pause cutscenes. How many times has it annoyed you when you're trying to watch a cutscene, and the phone rings, or some sort of other interruption ultimately making you miss out on something vital to the story? I hope R* introduce this in GTA: next. Also It would be nice if all the cutscenes were stored in some sort of video library, to watch again. There's cutscenes I would love to watch over, but I need to go through the entire game again. I think something similar was in VCS if I remember correctly. BigAmericanTitties
i found it possible to pause cutscenes in VC on the PC, by just pressing Esc or task manager.
Dodgy Dan
I agree! Recently i've been playing GTAIV and MGS2 and every single time a good cutscene was on somebody would always walk in my room and start talking to me. Its pretty damn annoying. I really do hope they add 'pausing cutscenes', cause like you said, whenever the phone rings or something during the middle of them, and you miss some dialouge and storyline, it pissed me off so bad. Algonquin Assassin
I mean it wouldn't be that hard to add. You would think they would've added this in GTA III. Edited August 13, 2008 by Miamivicecity
Hodgey.
Not just pausing but rewinding aswell, because there have been times were ive missed important stuff, just because i didnt understand what was just said. That way you could watch cutscenes as much or as little as you would like. Great idea Miamivicecity

Suki007
Good idea..... no.... GREAT idea! i was surprised that they didn't put it in GTA IV since they put all that effort in the cut scenes.
Kyle17
THANK YOU! I've been wondering what it was that GTA desperately needed & that's it.
Fokker
How about something simple that won't double the size of the game, something that won't be buggier tham my windscreen, something easier to implement, like a video library, like in most other games with story-building cutscenes (thinking of KotOR at the moment). Or is that just too clever?
Machida
I would actually like it is there were no cut scenes at all. Unless they are particulary important then I just find them kina disrupting.

I mean would you rather go back to that stupid little written text box, like GTA 1?

I'd prefer being able to shoot gervais in the knee cap if he (when he) made a joke that wasn't funny. Rather than have to sit and watch.
