Gibboniser Posted August 12, 2008 Share Posted August 12, 2008 * Using bags to carry weapons, instead of them magically appearing out of your jacket. * Using trunks on cars to store weapons, bodies. * Bus schedules, riding the bus. * An actual point to ATM's. * Long story with a multitude of missions. * More, likeable characters. * More variety in missions. * Less annoying friend system. * More activities to do, with friends or alone. * More weapons instead of the same stuff we've been seeing forever. * Better emphasis on hand-to-hand combat. * Removal of "leveled gun damage" where a certain gun can kill someone faster than another. * Completely Overhauled wanted system where cops don't appear out of thin air, come in army-like massive numbers, and actually have substanital A.I. * More character backstory, involving dialogue. * Better clothes selection. * More active, alive NPC population. isn't that everything they promised? People are already saying the game is to realistic! How would Niko bending down, opening a bag, and pulling out a weapon while being shot at add anything goods to the game? johnnyk1 Posted August 13, 2008 Share Posted August 13, 2008 Gameplay - fantastic phisics - best i`ve seen they are great but things like more weapons,better missions,deeper storyline,better main charater etc could of made it better. i`ve been thinking,now R* have the phisics and gameplay mabey they will ditch all the over the top realism and go for so crazy fun in the DLC. shockhazard Posted August 13, 2008 Share Posted August 13, 2008 personally i thought that gta4 is a really great game but there should be some adjustments to stuff.. name the things that were meant to come out in gta4 but didnt name the things you hate or the things you miss...? Planes,chainsaws,katanas,more guns and more player customizing options like in SA, like building up muscle and stuff like that. i've kinda been wanting them to combine maps as well, so you can fly from liberty city to vice city or los santos etc. They should of included parachutes as well, that was so fun. I also thought if police were on horses or u could ride a horse it will be real cool. Rollar blading is another good way of transport. For mini games maybe include lazer quest. a football to do penalty shootouts, a fairground to play hook a duck and crane catcher and on the arcades. Mostly I miss the casinos aswell. They were pretty cool. For fun maybe add some bouncy castles. Snow on the game would be cool. To have an online snow fight would b awesome. But GTA 4 seemed long but then ended when i did not want it too. I think they should have made lots of missions even if they where not that well planeed out. Also the cheats, like some of you say, there should be a lot more but i feel they will release lots of them when the downladable content drops. That would make sense as that would add a hugh add-on for all gamers even on the PS3 gamers. I hope they do keep it locked up for a bit anyway. The problem is destruction of the terrain. We can have fully destructible buildings, true, but the best I've seen so far was in Far Cry 2 and Half Life 2 Episode 2, which are either one-story buildings or made of sheet metal, wood, bamboo, and grass and fall apart from heavy gunfire. It's beyond current technology to have a whole city collapse from an earthquake. As much as I would love to have fully-destructible environments (imagine the top of the Rotterdamn Building falling off and impaling the building next to it), it's just impossible, at least while maintaining acceptable performance. Typhoons are the most doable, and even then the sheer amount of destruction would still cause plenty of lag. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
