xAlanxEnglandx
I hear its not that good for gaming but since san andreas for the pc aint one of the "next gen" games on the market, the 8300gs may handle it? Ime going to be installing it on someones computer for a freind but he has a 8300gs, should He upgrade? the system requirements fr the video card is 128mb, but I do understand the card is not meant for games, but the computer its self is good (2gb memory, ect...2.20GHz, ect) but wondering weatwher a 8300gs Could handle? Thanks Guys!

ArcAngel
If my sorry onboard video (Intel® 82865G Graphics Controller) can handle it, the 8300 should run circles around me. Also had it running on a GeForce 6200.
gtamodder
I have heard that card is integrated, if so turn the settings down and it should run ok.
ArcAngel
Yea, that's what I had to do but it still runs as fast as it did on my old P3 500mhz box, which is about 15fps lol.
Arkeid
You can Run with 30 FPs With Frame Limiter Off... Tried and Success
ArcAngel
You can Run with 30 FPs With Frame Limiter Off...Tried and Success Already have that option off, thanks - still lucky to get 20fps. I'm sure the Celeron CPU isn't helping either.
LAD
I use a celeron and a PCI card not PCI e . A 256 fx5500 OC'd BFGversion . I also ran it on my 128 fx5200 . I can run 1280x1024 with 3x AA at a crap frame rate like 9 . On low sets with no AA 25-42 . Interiors I get a major fps Jump . SA is real low spec on any new PC . To see the "look" of it click my sig . But remeber when I hit record on FRAPS , I take a hit again on fps .
