Anyone can go get the same equipment. 2. Those who use the FragFX have an advantage over those who don't, making the game so lopsided that it is no longer a game, just an exercise in spawning technique. 3. A solution to #2 is for everyone to get a FragFX, which, in effect, ruins the game because everyone gets one-shot kills every time. What fun is that? So my final tally? on FragFX. At least the mystery of the on-shot head-shot everytime is solved. AND...I'm buying one! Thats right, Im buying one so that when I meet one uf those &[email protected]#ers using it agianst the rest of us, I can switch to it and kick there ass! I don't often tout my own skill here but with AA on, there are very few who can even come close to beating me (I am practicing with AA off...usually come in 3rd or 4th against good players...getting better though) It will be worth the money just to watch them leave a game cuz they can't win, cuz while I don't beat them w/a 6-axis, I sure am a thorn in their side, so give me an even playing field with them and they are done. And one last note to DMW... There are certain ppl on this forum who I expect to flame or to be dicks when someone disagrees with them. I had not thought you were one of them. Your posts are usually Concise, mature and on topic (whether I agree with you or not). This display, however, was ashame. You know you could have stopped the flaming last night anytime you wanted to and you chose not to...which (again, in my humble opinion) makes you just as bad as the griefer. I enjoy reading what you have to say, and I thought you were above such nonsense. Anyway, I'll wait for the flamers to turn on me for taking it so seriously... I understand this point, but I disagree with it. I don't believe in stooping to their level. But if that's your choice, so be it. I'd rather simply leave the game. Another one will start in another 5 minutes anyway, and I'd rather play a fair game than become what I view to be a cheater myself. Plus, it saves me a hundred bucks. And if the problem becomes so widespread that every match has players who are using this controller, I'll simply stop playing and move on to another game. And one last note to DMW... Usually. But his argument was based around "It's not cheating because I say it's not and anyone who thinks it is is a fa**ot". What little actual backup to his position he gave was totally irrelevant (Such as it not being cheating because the controller costs so much.), and once I pointed that out, that's when he just gave up and decided to go after me. And when someone does that, I'll be more than happy to go back at them twice as hard. And I'll enjoy it every step of the way. I make no apologies for it. I'll gladly have a long, drawn out rational discussion about anything with anybody. But if you want to give up and start coming after me, keep in mind that I don't back down. It's just not my style. He laid out his arguement pretty well...he just didn't feel like spelling it out. I have no such feelings. 1) they cost about the same amount as a sixaxis. . He gave this reason to counter your point that the controller was somehow not accessible to most ppl. While we will probably have to wait for it (like any gamer isn't used to that) but anyone can buy it. It is on Amazon.com , overstock.com, etc. 2) IGN gave it a good review. He used this argument to explain that the controller is already being covered by the Mainstrtream (and as far as I can tell, accepted by it). Plug in "FragFX controller" in any search engine and watch the thousands of results pour in. Secret is out, folks. 3) Saying it's cheating is like saying someone cheated in Gran Turismo because they were using a GForce Steering Wheel. This is the perfect analogy...I don't know how to explain it better. 4) It is simply taking advantage of a superior controller. Fact. 5) It is a Licensed Peripheral. Sanctioned by Sony themselves. 6) The fact that the PS3 had the ability to use KB/M was one of the features people were excited about when we were first learning about the PS3. This is to reitterate the point that, in fact, true FPSs started on PC when the consoles couldn't do anything close. If you were gaming at that time, chances are you were gaming on a PC. If you were playing FPSs or RPGs you were definately gaming on a PC. I will say again what alx-ndr said many times...all the controller does is simulate the mouse-keyboard combination, which is what the first FPSs were made for. 7) Its all about your reaction time... not what controller you use. Even with a better controller, you still have to have the skill to use it, just like you do the 6axis. It has taken me forever to get used to the controller on every system I have had, be it PC, Intellivision, X-Box or Playstation... but I mastered them (ok...mastered is a big over-statement). 8) Someone with a crap reaction time wud be crap with the fragfx Ok...this one is the same as #7, but it is a good point, so nothing wrong with stating it twice. The FragFX features a separate right hand mouse controller and detachable left hand grip controller, ideal for experiencing the traditional PC mouse and keyboard style gameplay of shooter games in a console environment. Key FragFX controller features include: - The right hand mouse controller has the complete set of PS3 controller buttons. The mouse is used during game play to shoot, look left, right, up and down for that same PC style game play experience on the PlayStation 3. - The mouse is optimized for navigation within the recently announced PlayStation Home virtual world. - A menu mode on the mouse allows it to double as a regular mouse during menu selections. A Mouse is near 90% More accurate than the Analog stick.. OK, you might be talking about your Persobnal abilitys(?) I don't blame them for using a mouse. I would. Why would you use a crappy joypad, if you can use a superior controller: the mouse?
